While genuine replacement filters like the Coway Airmega 150 Filter Set can be a bit pricey, I consider it a necessary and valuable investment for my family's health. We deal with allergies in our household, so air quality is a top priority for us. This set includes both the Green HEPA filter and the Activated Carbon filter, which do an incredible job of trapping dust, pollen, and lingering odors. I’ve tried generic brands before, but they never seem to fit as perfectly or perform as effectively as the original Coway parts. Definitely can feel a difference in air quality and also my room just smells fresher. Fits perfectly nn the coway 150. I just wish it wasn’t so expensive.

This is the first time I've had to replace the Coway filter, since using the original that came in the box with the 150 air purifier. Interestingly, the unit has been going off way more since installing this filter - I've no idea why that is, but the unit seems to be responding much more sensitively to the room environment since replacing. Not sure whether the original one was old or what. Anyway I'm happy.

I’ll admit that I am one to usually go with OEM product replacements especially when it’s something that is suppose to fit well, filter well, and be of the quality that I want my air filtration to perform. The sound level, smell, and thickness /dimensions will be identical to the filter that came with your COWAY and owning over six of them myself. I can say that you can never go wrong with OEM but I’ll admit for some others I’ve gone with different “generics” for a try in areas that are in need of frequent replacements becuase of the particulates (kitchen) or areas where I’m not trusting my air quality to non-OEM like the primary bedroom! If you don’t want to risk that there’s even a chance the filter won’t fit and you want to know you’re getting the genuine replacement pack, with added carbon filters. This is the right choice for you!

This filter and air purifier are the best addition to our house! I know they are kind of pricey but it works incredibly well! They do have a constant hum when on high, but I find it very comforting not annoying. It actually is perfect if you like to have a sound machine at night! I put it right next to my bed and it helps me sleep at night!

I only ever trust the Conway branded filters. There are cheaper off brand option that look the same s but there's no guarantee they are actually working correctly and cleaning the air. I'd rather buy the official filters and know I am guaranteed to have 12 months of clean filtered air in my home.
