I made a car fob cover so I would have a less bulky pouch for my pocket. I tested it after placing the fob in my roughly made pouch and folded over the flap (where u insert the fob). It worked great. Velcro works good if you can get good sticky velcro. I didn't try sewing it as I didn't know if the small needle holes would make it not work. My other fobs left in the house have their own pouch.
