I rediscovered my love of the Rubiks Cube earlier this year and although I still can't completely solve one without resorting to an online guide I've got the hang of it more in my late 40s than I did when they first appeared.This one is nicely packaged in a brown cardboard carton, easy to open and no plastic blister pack. The cube itself is tiny, a 2x2 model, and the colours are part of the cube itself rather than being stickers. There are no instructions in the box, and the cube is solved when you remove it from the carton. How hard could this be? I wondered, and happily spent a few seconds turning the faces this way and that to scramble it (it moves nicely - not too stiff, and not too loose, and is quiet), then I started to solve it. After a few seconds I realised that this was going to be harder than it first appeared, and once I'd managed to get one face and a couple of the edges solved I was a bit stuck, until the online guides came to my rescue again.If you're a fan of Rubik's Cubes, or if you fancy trying one, this is a good buy, and is ideal as a stocking filler or a pocket money buy.

I got this as a stocking filler for my nephew. It is a mini Rubik's Cube (2x2) so in theory will be much easier for my nephew to solve than the standard Rubik's Cube that I, as a child, could never solve and ended up swapping the stickers over in the end in order to 'solve it'. It looks good quality and well made, with the right amount of stiffness in use. A big plus is that it arrives in a small cardboard box, which is recyclable and biodegradable. It is a little pricey at £8.00 at time of review but is within the price I would pay for a stocking filler (under £10) and so I am happy to recommend for a classic puzzle.

2x2 Rubik’s are much easier, so my kid’s like this as it’s very manageable and it’s also smaller to take out and about in your pocket etc.This is the new eco packaging which I was impressed with, as no plastic waste just a small cardboard box around the cube.

This is a very small 2 x 2 version of the rubix cube. Be prepared for oodles of fun whilst your child (and then you) try to solve this!

2x2 is a perfect start for little beginner, it helps little one to practice on the hand and excercise their brain as well. Good toy to have.

The cube is fine and we bought it as my son aleady has the big one.I would say it is ok, but the orginal Rubik's cube is the good one.The package was vey bad one, very grey and cheap.Quick deliver.3
