Lovely knife

Absolutely beautiful and razor sharp
I have a set of Wüsthof Classic knives in Wild Blueberry, but just had to have them in white as well. This knife is razor sharp and exceptional quality.

Expensive, but worth it for edge retention.
I've had this for nearly 6 months now, and still haven't felt the need to use a stone to keep the edge. Just honed on a steel each use, and it keeps a great edge. Comfy, small size ideal for smaller hands. I would personally have a slightly larger knife, but bought for my wife who prefers a smaller blade so it's perfect for her.

Easily my favourite knife
I've been a proud owner of the Classic 15cm chef knife for nearly 10 years, but decided to treat myself after moving to my new home with a new board and a new knife. As a vegetarian household, this is now my go to knife for 90% of my needs, from chopping vegetables to slicing garlic and tomatoes to chopping up sweet potatoes. I can't comment on meat prep on this knife yet as I just haven't had experience with it. For reference I've learnt to use the pinch grip and I do both up down chopping and sawing motion slicing, also I use it for the rocking motion chopping but I guess it's not recommended to keep the tip sharp. However I'm still able to open packets easily with the tip. When used with my end grain board, it's retained its edge very well after 4 months. I only sharpened it recently because I was already touching up my paring knife and my mandolin, but it could probably go another few months just fine! That said I knocked down a star because the hollow edge doesn't actually serve the purpose of keeping the likes of tomatoes from sticking. The knife also isn't as well balanced as my 15cm chef knife, with the blade touching the work surface when I rest it on the board. Not the end of the world, but having gotten used to the balance of the 15cm this was a disappointment! Another thing to be aware of is how the edge extends to the handle end, which is great for chopping I'm sure - but I accidentally dropped it on the board and it took a tiny chunk out of the board where the handle side of the corner met the board 😭 Not a complain so much as buyers be aware. All in all, it's my favourite knife for sure. Maybe a slightly shorter edge for better balance would make it perfect for me!

Wusthof check quality control
Haven’t been able to use yet as not sharpened properly again, chip in the blade and marks on the handle. So not great build quality, Worry that these’s are seconds. The packaging is not good enough either. I will have to sharpen it myself.

Wasn't sure I needed a smaller knife than the standard larger santuko knife, but if you spend a decent amount of time cooking or in the kitchen, it's a very nice addition. And the white color is beautiful!

Beautiful knife. It’s the best I’ve used till date. Retains the edge very well. Does not need sharpening for months (can be honed regularly) to maintain the edge. Same goes for the 8 inch chef knife as well. Big thanks to the seller Atlantic Shoppe for bringing this product to the Indian market!
