I dont know what these reviews are about having issues with this bit. I've been using them cutting intricate dovetails on cnc with both vertical and horizontal orientation on my cnc through 4/4 milled exotic hardwood. I obviously need this size bit to handle that. Now I go slow and take about 8 to 10 passes over that stock, but it works wonderfully. I'm on my 3rd bit, because I'd say I average about 4 dovetail boxes a week, over 6 months. My first bit is rough, but hasn't broke, and I still use it for roughing or test pieces cuts, and my newest one for the higher exotic exotics. So it cant be that I got lucky with a good lot of bits since I've ordered more over time. Only thing that makes sense to me and from what I see from other reviews is they dont understand feeds, speeds, and depth per cut. Simple if you understand tha you wont have problems
