Prospective buyers: please read numerous reviews before making your decision, and concentrate on reviews from users who have used the Bear for many months. Any reviews that don’t include a usage time period won’t be helpful to you in ascertaining the long-term reliability and impact of the product. This is the second faulty Bear device I have purchased in 2 months! Both devices stopped working -without the App - shortly after I registered them, making it impossible to use the Bear in its offline mode. The owners manual was no help & did not address this problem. When I contacted Foreo customer service, they were prompt & helpful. They did provide me with troubleshooting directions. I followed their 4-step process, but the Bear still would not work without the App. By the way, the 4-step process involves deleting & reinstalling the App, updating your IOS, and deleting your phone’s cookies & cache memory. Who wants to do that every time there is a new version of the App (current version 3.5.9) or your phone has a software update? When the device STILL did not work in offline mode, Foreo invited me to make a Warranty claim. At that point, it was easier for me to return the Bear to Amazon, as I was within my 30 day purchase period. So I did that. The replacement Bear arrived. I registered it and soon, it too, stopped working in offline mode. I followed the same 4-step troubleshooting process. Same results as before: device #2 would not work without the App. I intended to return the second Bear to Amazon, since it had also malfunctioned within my 30 day purchase period. But I missed the deadline due to the holiday season. Now I am stuck with a Bear device that will not work unless I use it WITH the App. What a hassle to make a Warranty claim for a 1-month old product! Problems with using the App: there is only ONE “Treatment” program. If you want to vary your routine, then you have to adapt to this program, which is pre-set for certain areas of the face and also pre-set with microcurrent intensities based on those areas of your face. The App also has a “Start Massage” option (separate from “Treatments”) that can be used for a freestyle facial. Note: Foreo App & owners manual does not explain if a “treatment” provides the same microcurrent benefits as a “massage?” If it does, then why are they called different things? Confusing. Also, for both “Treatments” & “Start Massage” functions, each time you have to reset the microcurrent intensity level. The App does not remember your preferences for these functions, even though you have already programmed your settings for “Pro” mode with T-sonic on level 5. I am a fan of microcurrent treatments and I recognize that the Bear is a good product. The accompanying App, however, is not. I sincerely dislike that I cannot use the device without the App. What if I have a phone connectivity or battery issue at the time that I want to use the Bear? I paid for a product that is supposed to work offline, without the App. This is bad value. And buyers & potential buyers should be made aware of this problem, which many other users have complained of in these reviews. Foreo: please correct these problems and provide better user information!

Amazing, my favorite tool so I don’t feel so frumpy

I have been using it for about four months and have charged it twice. I only use the microcurrent on my mid-lower face because using it near my eyes and on my forehead gives me headaches. If I do use it on my upper face for lymphatics, I leave the Bear off. I have it on the level 5 setting with no pulsation and use it for jaw muscle toning/TMJ, cheekbones, and skin circulation. I use it daily in the mornings when I wash my face but sometimes I might only use it 3 or 4 times per week. I use it 2 minutes or less. I have experimented with the 3-minute max but the last minute doesn't make a difference. I move the Bear quickly and firmly over my fat and bone (much faster and harder than they demonstrate in their tutorials) and cover all the areas I need multiple times. Jaw is now more stable. I notice that it makes acne, hyperpigmentation scarring, and bruising heal faster. This is a step up for facial lymphatic drainage with a manual, nonelectric tool. After I started using it, I noticed old zit bumps that were healed, but were still clogged pores, became flat a week after treating them with the Bear. I think the microcurrent helps the skin break down pore debris and completely remove it like it was supposed to the first time. Then the dark pigment that built up as a result also diminishes and disappears. This has happened multiple times with clogged pores after using the Bear so I know it's not a randomly occurring event. I don't get that many, but I don't worry anymore knowing I can keep running the Bear over it. You are not supposed to use it over open wounds, but I still go over it anyway since I can take the charge. The Foreo serum is very basic and I never used it. My regular water-based cleanser (Cerave Hydrating cleanser) has the same effect and that is what I use as the conducting gel. If it starts to dry, I add more cleanser or water to my face to renew the barrier. It is easy to clean; rinse off the gel with water and dry with clean cloth. Bear is a product I will be using permanently.

This device worked perfectly for 2 years and then the T Sonic stopped working. I contacted the customer services department who were less than helpful and they just suggested resetting the device. I did this but it didn’t help. I continued to use it it without then sonic massage. 6 months later I tried contacting the customer services again but they said as my warranty is expired they can’t help. I have several other devices by FOREO but I will never buy from them again. Really unhelpful customer services and this product is one of the more expensive micro current devices on the market so I would have expected it to work for longer than 2 years.

Good device however bad monetization - requires app membership and serum - expensive maintenance

As I love my Foreo UFO mask device so much, & my microcurrent device I had no longer worked! I decided to obviously go for the FOREO Bear device! & so glad that I did! This bundle was such great value too, as contains 2 x Foreo conductive serums! Far superior quality as you’d expect from Foreo! This super cute bear device gives amazing results from day one! Why would anyone prefer a facelift to this! You get that great toned, lifted & plumped look, along with the benefits of that amazing serum! I wouldn’t choose another brand now ever! FOREO do face magic!!!

I've been using this for 3 weeks and definitely notice a difference. This product works by stimulating the muscles underneath your skin, so it takes time to work. After a week, I noticed my skin feels firmer, at 3 weeks in I see a noticeable difference in the mirror. I hadn't noticed, honestly, until I joined a Zoom call and the camera doesn't lie! Make sure you are using this with a water-based serum, and keeping your skin wet enough that the bear can glide easily. I use a hyalauronic acid serum, plus a facial spray to refresh the serum and keep my skin from drying. If the serum sinks in, the bear doesn't work anymore, so make sure your skin is wet, not just damp. LOVE this and will be using it forever! I highly recommend it to anyone!

Aggiorno la mia recensione dopo mesi di utilizzo. Il viso è più ovale, sulle rughe non posso commentare perché ne ho davvero poche e intorno agli occhi, dove bear non arriva. Utilizzo la versione pro a livello 10 tutte le mattine. Sicuramente è da evitare da passare su brufolini o piccole escoriazioni perché la corrente pizzica parecchio. La pelle deve essere integra. Non è necessario mettere molto prodotto conduttore (che sia Foreo o altro). Per il resto sempre molto soddisfatta, unica pecca la batteria… usandolo giornalmente non dura molto, all’incirca 8/9 giorni. Non potrei farne a meno! Ho aspettato un mese prima di recensire Bear per capire bene se funzionasse o meno. Sono sicuramente contenta di averlo acquistato e posso dire che dopo 4 settimane la mia pelle è più elastica e migliorata. Sono sicura che con costanza il mio viso migliorerà ancora. A mio avviso bisogna usare un livello di microcorrente alta (io uso nella modalità normale la 10) non ho avuto ancora il coraggio di provare la versione Pro. A 10 sulla fronte sento già pizzicare e non essendo piacevole temo che con la versione pro possa essere ancora più fastidioso. Sarebbe stato utile, nell’app, poter selezionare diversi livelli di microcorrente a seconda della tollerabilità. Come siero utilizzo quello della Foreo, mi trovo bene anche se il prezzo è elevato. Se utilizzato tutti i giorni dura solo 3 settimane… Ho letto diversi commenti di problematiche relative al funzionamento del dispositivo, al momento il mio funziona bene (io lo uso sempre tramite l’app sul mio iPhone). Spero tenga duro!!
