Cute version of Monopoly Junior
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Super fun version of the Monopoly Junior. All my little ones enjoy this at various ages. Because they like the tokens and cards so much it engages them further in learning about counting for the youngest and money for the oldest. We also played with Cars version which they very much enjoyed as well but this one is the favorite. Even my husband enjoys playing it with the kids.

Easy and quick to play
My daughter was so excited to receive her own monopoly game like the older kids play. The junior edition has a lot of similarities to the standard version but is super simplified and can be played by any kid who can count to ten. Money only comes in $1s. Each "property" is $1, 2, 3, 4, or 5. You must buy it if you land on it. There are no property cards to keep track of; you put your corresponding token on the space once you own the property. Then if another player lands on it they pay you that same amount, or double if you own the color set (all color sets are only 2 properties). So really kids just need to be able to count to 6 to roll the (single) die and move around the board and then up to 10 to handle purchasing properties and paying rent - and there's no change since money is only $1 bills. There is almost no strategy involved since you must buy spaces when you land on them. The only challenge to young kids playing entirely independently is that there are Chance cards that require reading, but even those have enough distinctive imagery on them that after playing several times a child should recognize each card and know how to play it without reading all the text. Each player starts with $20 and the game ends when a player doesn't have enough money to purchase or pay rent on a property they land on. That can take as little as twice around the board, under 10 minutes, though if the players happen to land equally on each other's properties it will take longer but still generally quite quick.

Great game
I was telling my coworker I couldn't wait to play monopoly with my daughter when she gets older and she suggested monopoly junior so I bought it as a christmas gift for my 4yr old. It's one of the best children's games I've bought because it's fun for the whole family and my daughter can easily play it. She's memorized the chance cards after playing a few times and gets excited to play. Its easy for her to count the monopoly and the games go quick enough to hold her attention for a round or two. Highly recommend to anyone with younger kids.

Great game to play with younger ones!
The media could not be loaded. I was looking for a easy to learn game to play with my 6 year old niece to keep her off of being in front of electronics so much. She loves unicorns so I am glad I was able to find a unicorn version of monopoly. This game is very easy for younger kids to learn and play. The game board is smaller than the original version with less pieces and only one one type of bill as money. The only thing is that the chance cards may be a bet difficult for younger ones to read, depending on age and reading level. My niece needs help reading the chance cards. The board and pieces are nice;y bright colors with cute little animal characters. This would make a great gift for any younger kids or a game to play with kids on family night. I would definitely recommend this game for anyone wanting to introduce their kids to board games as this is much fun and easy to learn. The game also will not last for hours as the original monopoly game may.

Easy to assemble and play
Easy to assemble and play. Wish the whole thing was a bit bigger. Especially since its meant for toddlers. Very cute and fun game tho. I love monopoly and teaching the kiddo how to play.

Great game for a 6 year old!
This game was perfect for my 6 year old granddaughter. Her attention span is limited to about 30 minutes before she wants to do something else. The game lasts between 20-30 minutes depending on how many play. Her older, extremely smart 9 year old brother enjoys playing this with her. It’s fun and educational at the same time.

So much fun!!
This was my first time playing Monopoly Junior and it was perfect for my 6 year old. Colorful characters kept her engaged in the game. She learned the rules quickly and was able to play for a good 30+ minutes without distraction. She was able to keep pace and follow instructions well. The board and pieces were good quality. This was a great way to keep my daughter engaged and off electronics. Happy with this!
