Can i put it directly on the stove?

No. You will need a teapot for the stove or use a microwave oven to heat the water. You will NOT be able to put glass teapot in Microwave to heat the water. My granddaughter who is 4 years old still loves her teapot set and has teapot parties regularly with it. She has been using it since November 2020 regularly. She is very good about how to use it. The details in this teapot set are amazing and the photo doesn't come close to doing it any justice. Been months now and yes I and my granddaughter are still very happy with the purchase.
