So this arrived Saturday morning (yesterday) and I used it on my long coated border collie straight away! She's double coated and moults twice a year, and don't we know about it!! We have a grey living room carpet which is black during the moulting season and has to be hoovered twice a day!! This brush is AMAZING!! 😃 First time to ever use a Deshedding & Dematting tool and boy was it fantastic! Took her into the garden and used the 22-toothed side first as instructed. I could literally hear it cutting through the less matted areas. The areas that were matted more heavy took a bit more time to get through. I know it says "Doesn't tug at pets hair" but at the back of her legs and tail, where she mats the worse I had to be very gentle and hold the section of matted hair in-between my fingers because it was pulling a little. If you just rip this through the heavily matted areas you will definitely hurt your pet, but if you go slowly and gently, working it through the matted area your pet will be fine and won't get hurt. I couldn't believe the amount of hair that came out with just the first side!! After I'd managed to get through the matted areas I then started using the 87-toothed side of the brush. I was absolutely gobsmacked just how much hair was coming out!! It definitely helped with the deshedding and thinning out of her coat. I filled 2 plastic bags with dead grey hair that she hates because it itches so much during the moulting seasons!! I am absolutely thrilled with this brush!! 😃 We actually bought a normal dog brush from a well known Pet store (Home of the pets!!!!) on Thursday that cost us £8.00!!!! I got home and looked on Amazon (should have done that first!!) and that's when I found Fur Magic Deshedding & Dematting Tool. I paid just over £12.00 for what is essentially 2 brushes in 1. The Fur Magic brush arrived Saturday morning (ordered it Thursday night) and the other brush was returned to the store, unused that same morning!! I will 100% be getting ALL my dog grooming tools from Fur Magic from now on. Only negative things I can say, are.... 1) it does pull very heavy matted areas if you don't go slowly and gently 2) the brush is quite heavy, so my wrist got quite tired towards the end of the grooming session..... but despite those 2 very small negatives I'm 100% happy with this purchase. Didn't mind the price, especially as I'd paid £8 for a basic brush in a store!! 🐕🐶 This brush is fantastic and easy to use for long coated dogs such as border collies.

Excellent deshedding brush! Works perfectly when brushing our rottie. It removes so much loose fur! Highly recommend!

Struggled for months with shedding from our one year old Rottweiler. To my despair daily hoovering didn't keep on top of the shedding and other brushes didn't work. For the first week we brushed our rottweiler 4x a day and loads of hair came out. A week later our wooden and tiled floors no longer look like a carpet of hair. We still brush 4x throughout the day but now we only get short hairs and it takes no more than 20/30 seconds each time. Easy to use and does the job. Wish I'd come across this brush sooner.

This is pretty good although the blades don't really cut through matted hair. Still, the cat looks a lot better for it!

This is brilliant I have a 8month old Alsatian she's just finished getting her full fluffy coat so needed to kept neat other brushes she didn't like this one brought off all the loose hair and she laid down to be brushed which is not like her at all I also used it on my foster dog who has arrived needed a full brush and trim and she also just let us brush her so it's a bonus and a huge thumbs up from me and the dogs

Very good. I have a golden retriever and he has a lot of hair! He loves it and stands and waits for me to brush him. The brush goes through his hair with ease and without fuss

We have had four huskies. Tried numerous different deshedding/brushing tools. This just leaves them all standing. It is very gentle so doesn't catch her skin and very easily removes all of the loose hair. Just gently pull through and then clean the tool and the hair is gone. Saves so much time with vacuuming the house as well. My advice is .... buy one.

Excellent product. Long haired border collie not been to Groomers in a long time. Quite happy to sit and let me use the deshedding tool. Photo is of half way through.

I really like the product. It is perfect for animals with small coats. I cannot use the curved comb on my long hair cat as it is grabs on to the long fur really hard. but the fine comb is perfect.

I used it to get the knots off of my Bernedoodle’s legs and belly, behind ears, etc. It works well but definitely grabs the knots so be careful to start at the ends of the hair and work out the knot gently or you could end up yanking a plug of hair from your pet, especially if she moves fast! The sharp edge is perfect for getting the knots to thin out also.

I use this on my 6 month old golden doodle. She recently started getting mats in her hair, so i found this brush, and WOW it’s amazing! She loves being brushed with it, and it gets every little tangle out, and she always feels super soft after every use. I highly recommend! ☺️🐩

Bought as a gift for two different people, one found it ok for their dogs, the other persons dog fur is very thin, so the dog is no longer being brushed using this product

Tik tok made me buy it and I’m happy. My fur babies are long haired, shedding machines. I was concerned that it would be too rough, but they loved it. This pile is from 1 cat & I wasn’t even finished brushing him.
