Great value, great fit, genuine part
This for me mower perfectly and does a great job. For the price does a nice job of mulching the grass. And it was genuine John Deere item, even can in a JD box.

Does the job
Worth the effort. Cover fit the deck pretty well but I'm not a fan of the way the clips are made. Holds it in place but not very snug. I added some 3/16 rivets and it's nice and tight.

Fit our L111 perfectly. Installed in 5 minutes. Came in a John Deere box, so it’s legit. Fast shipping.

Great, but not for JD x300 mower
Item came fast and is of great quality. However, it does not fit on my JD x300 mower. The reviews saying this item does, are not correct.

Works but not a great fit.
Fit leaves a lot to be desired. I removed the discharge chute to have plenty of room. With just the straps attaching it, it would “pop” up and leave about a 1/2 gap towards the bottom. I used a couple pieces of flat bar attached to the existing studs that held the discharge chute on to keep this from happening.
