Works as described. Much easier than twist ties. Give s a good seal

the instructions are clear. it's only going to light up when it's plugged in with the top piece down so you know when the seal is complete. it does take trial and error. at first i thought it wasn't doing anything, but realized it was just too low of heat for my bags. i prefer this brand over the most popular amazon choice brand. i've tried both and this one was clean and with all of the pieces in one box. even if it were to break after a few months, i'd actually buy it again. the price is worth the end result. i give it a 9/10. i would also like to mention that it - most likely - will break the bag depending on how strong your bags are that you're sealing. and by break the bag, i mean when someone opens the bag. i didn't buy this to preserve the bag though. i bought it to preserve my baked goods. i doubt anyone cares about saving the cheap bag when the point is to get what's inside.

I've been using this for months now. It makes great seals on my cookie and macaron bags for my micro bakery. I watched some videos online and have to adjust the heat accordingly for the type of bag I'm using and the length of time I use it. So there is trial and error if you've never used a heat sealer before but it's very forgiving and takes no time to master.

Worked great for about 2 days. I used to seal cookie bags. I purchased the bags at the same time as the machine and it worked pretty well at first and seem to have a good sturdy seal. That said, the next time I went to use it the seal was patchy and it didn't create an airtight line. Returning and hopefully buying a better quality one. So disappointed because when it worked, it worked very well.

I bought this to seal my cookie bags and it was perfect! Easy to use, comes with replacement parts. Must have for anyone who does baking!

It could not be plugged in. I bought a travel adaptor but still no luck. It was a waste of time and money.

I bought this heat sealer in the summer and have been using it about 1-2 times a month to seal bags. This last time I I was using it the sealer started sparking on both sides and will not heat up to temperature anymore. It is a good beginner sealer but the long term use is not it. For $30 it was a good starter piece but I’ll be looking into other brands.

Instead of using clips to re-seal snack bags I started using this heat sealer. It's keeping thing fresh. Very easy to use and doesn't make much counter space.
