The controller means the kids can change the light easily

This bulb performs well from a brightness and colour perspective.However, please be aware that this is a Tuya Bluetooth Bulb. Now what does this mean? Well, it means that you can add this bulb to your Tuya/Smart Life app and control it from there when within range but it does not have any real "smart home" functionality as the bulb does not integrate with Amazon Alexa, Google Home or Apple Homekit.Also - whilst the bulb appears in the app you can't control it when you're not very close to the bulb (within 10m) as there is no remote admin functionality on this bulb.You also cannot use the bulb in any automations.If you're only wanting this as a single bulb on it's own where you can turn it on and off with your phone when in the room this is for you - but just be aware of it's limitations.

Amazing light

I wanted a warm bulb that I could turn off from my bed at night. This is it.The colour options are great and the white options even better. Anywhere from very warm to very cool. Looks warmer in person than on photo.App is easy to use. Dimmer option is great. bulb is just as bright as my previous IKEA lamp bulb when on white options. Colours can be a bit dimmer but still good.Now hopefully it lasts a while.

Bought 3 bulbs and none of them the instructions are in German no English or any other language option you have to download and app to use these and the app doesn’t work asked me use WiFi or Bluetooth neither work please do not buy these they are a scam they do not work

Some colours are incorrect or just white. Like some of the orange setting is green.

Installing and using app is pretty easy. Bluetooth pairing is done by turning the lamp on and off a few times. (not too fast). Read the manual for instructions.App is called "Lepro lampUX", its easy to find on the appstore. Tap on bulb picture in the app ond not on the green "common functions" to access more features-1 star because the app could be a bit better.
