This is part of a Christmas gift so it will be a while before I have any final input. They look great, well packaged (I did open to inspect for possible damage). I feel this is going to be part of the perfect gift!

I have used these several times. It is a good alternative to watering down your drinks. They do not stay cool for long, and you need to be mindful of chipping a tooth while sipping your drink.

As far as whiskey stones go, this is a handsome set at a good price, and I would recommend them to anyone who is a fan of this bar accessory. They are a good set for anyone who has been curious about whiskey stones. What I discovered is that I don't like whiskey stones, because they really don't keep drinks chilled at all. We found that even after the stones had been in the freezer for hours, they were room temperature in the glasses within a few minutes of us pouring in the whiskey. We tried them a few times before giving up, after we continued getting the same disappointing results. On the upside, one thing I worried about was what happens when you tilt the glass all the way, to get the last of your drink -- do the stones come down and bash your lip and teeth? Happily, this doesn't seem to be a problem, as the stones always seemed to slide gently down the glass, or at least didn't have enough speed to do any damage to our faces!

Got this for my dads birthday. He likes them and says they work well. Stays cold for awhile and quality seems nice.
