Game of Thrones - A Telltale Games Series - Xbox One

Great game if you love story-driven adventures. Keep in mind that this game is more of an "interactive show" than it is a game. Shipping was punctual, as usual for Amazon Prime! This is a hard disc that will install the first episode onto your console, and provides you with a season pass for the remaining episodes. However, for those of you with slow or limited internet access-- keep in mind that you will need to download the remaining episodes from the xbox store.The only gripe I had is that I couldn't figure out how to install it on my xbox since no instructions were included. I already had the first episode installed, but even with the disc, I was prompted to buy the remaining episodes. I googled it and apparently you have to hover over the game on your home page, hit the menu button on your controller, click 'manage bundle', and then click install. And THEN after the game is "installed", I had to go to the xbox store and download the remaining episodes for free. Not terrible, but slightly annoying. However, I would still recommend!

It's a great game, not just for fans. You watch the story for the most part, choose your responses, and a little bit of skill in pressing buttons in sequence. I'm not a serious gamer as you can tell. It's different to most of the games I have played. For people who like to take their time with a game, enjoy a story, and stop and smell the roses as it were; highly recommend.

Most uncomfortable gaming experience I have had in my entire life. It's like being back in high school again, where everyone has has to assert their dominance and make you feel inferior to them. The first half of the game is all "respect my authoritah!" and "bow before me, and kiss my ring", and "i killed that person you love, let's act out me killing them in front of you to rub it in". I have been a gamer since the days of the Atari 2600, and have never had a worse gaming experience than this game. Never has a game been less fun than this one. There's also the fact that you are playing the story from 4 (?) different people's point of view, so you are jumping all over the place asking yourself "WTF is going on". It's like the people that wrote this script had ADD. Then there's the fact that Telltale's game engine is awful. The graphics are subpar, and there are constant screen freezes where either the game can't handle the mediocre graphics, or it is saving every single button choice you make. Really takes away from the immersion of the game when you have 10-15 second delays constantly while the game is doing whatever it is that is causes the freezing. I am slightly more than halfway thru this game, and I would say it is the worst game I have ever played. I genuinely can't play more than one chapter at a time before I am bored or uncomfortable enough that I need to turn the game off and go play something that is actually fun. I would not recommend to anyone, even serious Game of Thrones fans.

Always a bit weary of purchasing used games and movies, but it was in great condition and plays perfect!

It's another relaxing telltale game... which is nice once in awhile. Only problem with this one is the ending is just totally unfinished. Only will be good IF (and that's doubtful) they continue the series with another 6+ parts down the road. Now that the 360 is done, it'll never be designed for that console... so I guess if it does ever exist, it'll have to be next generation on the xbox one. Game only lasts about 12 hours (all 6 parts) but it is a good storyline... just too bad it doesn't all come together for some type of conclusion at the end. Even after you get your results in relation to how other players made decisions, there's a few more scenes... which don't help to be conclusive at all... I don't understand.

A good friend suggested playing this game and I was not disappointed at all. This follows GoT in a side story to the series itself. I only played episode 1 but I am already in love with the game play itself. Definitely a nice change of games I usually play, I enjoy that you basically control how the story becomes. Can't wait to finish this game.

I enjoy all Telltale Games! I am a huge fan of GOT, and I really enjoyed this side story and this new family. It does seem like the choices are still self guiding you into how the story was going to turn out for the Foresters, but I can see why. They are telling the stories around the events that have already happened on the shows. As much as I wanted to kill certain characters in the game (I will not reveal spoilers for those that have not played it yet), if you did, the main story would change and the HBO events would not have occurred. To the seller, the game came on time and in great condition. Thank you!
