Good quality product
I like this knee support very much very comfortable and light weight I’ll recommend them.

Great for up and down.
These are great if you are up and down alot. They are kinda flat so thery don't dig in to the top of your knees when your walking. I take off the top strap and they stay on just fine with the bottom one. This way they don't dig in to the back of my knees and shimmy down when I walk. Better than pad 3 times as much.Not ideal for being on your knees all day though...

Perfect for home projects
Definitely worth the few dollars. They do the job great. I've never tried the expensive ones, but these worked great for hours of tile installation, I don't don't see a need for the more expensive ones unless you use them continuously on very rough surfaces

One was larger than the other
Wanted to like this but one was larger than the other, and it was not a matter of having been compressed inside the other during packing. I returned it. Had old pair similar which I wanted to replace--it was wider, still good except for the velcro straps.
