I love isopure! It's lowcarb, not super calorie dense (for protein powders), super fine powder that mixes easily and delicious chocolate taste. I wanted a chocolate protein powder and read many reviews before deciding to go with isopure. I've used their unflavored zero carb protein powder before, and was impressed with how easily it mixed into my coffee. This chocolate flavor was the same, and gives my coffee a yummy mocha taste in the morning. I also really like mixing it with almond milk. In the reviews I read someone said it tastes like nesquick and I TOTALLY AGREE! This protein powder has been my go to lately! It's great for reaching my macro goals, when I have a busy day and need to get a quick breakfast/snack/lunch...the protein boost helps me feel satisfied and energetic! Beware!!! One star! Completely new formulation. Does NOT taste good or anything remotely like previous formulation. Gritty / odd salty crystals / not easily soluble / Fake aftertaste. JUST AWFUL I workout 6x/week and have tried several powders over the years this used to be great but is JUSt an aberration! If you knew how good the original chocolate was and this was your go-to powder it’s not anymore. If you’re a new customer / user there are better chocolate proteins out there. This one will taste as awful as any cheap fake-tasting chocolate power! My whole reason for shelling out the money for this product were the ingredients and THE TASTE TASTE TASTE. Fool me once! Now onto my new search for a good tasting chocolate protein. Buyer Beware

I’ve bought the Dutch chocolate a few times in the gray container. I didn’t give it a second thought to reorder since it just said the packaging has been updated. Lots of brands revamp the packaging without reformulation. They don’t have to advertise it’s changed. The chocolate used to blend well and had a dark chocolate flavor that paired perfectly with coffee. It tasted like a mocha, I loved it. It kept be full and I found myself craving less sugar and carbs. This white jug with this new formula is horrible. It smelled off when I opened it but I dismissed it at first. After mixing my shake I could tell this was not right. It tastes almost like nothing, no chocolate flavor at all. No longer mixes well either, a gritty salty portion sticks to the bottom and sides of my blender bottle. I can’t drink the last of it, it makes me gag it’s like drinking beach sand- slaty and gritty. Super gross. I checked online and many customers do not like the new product. On the old formula I always made it to lunch time (12:00) I was hungry at 10:00 this time. I can’t drink it agin it was too gross. I’m upset Isopure tried to sneak this one past everyone, this is no way comparable to the old formula. Its taste, texture, and flavor are worse. Additionally, the scoop is larger but the protein per serving is the same. SKIP THIS NEW FORMULA! GROSS!

Surprisingly good. I added 2 T cream, ice, and extra unsweetened cocoa with water in a blender, added a little extra sucralose, and it came out like a great, chocolatey shake. I’m not normally a fan of protein drinks, but I love this. My husband and I started a low carb diet with about 5 days of this, 3-4 times a day. It definitely got our diet off to a good start. Now we have it in lieu of some meals.
