Worked perfect on my 1875 pro v with 175 mercury

Every fishing boat I have had has had the rooster tail issue. My most recent boat (18' aluminum Ranger) was so bad that whoever sat in the rear seats would get splashed. Plus my motor was constantly spotted with water from the splashing. This product works perfectly and I wish I knew about it years ago. Even more...rooster tails from transducers is a known problem, why doesn't Lowrance and Hummingbird make their brackets in a way that solves the issue?

I added this to my transducer mounting plate to stop spray from hitting my outboard so bad. Mind you I have 3 different transducers on my mounting plate so alot to drag and create spray.I had already installed a different brand mounting plate so I did have to modify the corners of this item a little bit. Once I did that it lined up well and has blocked a vast majority of the spray off my motor.

The real question is why does every fishing boat not come with this already installed when you get a graph put on? I feel like a fool for not finding and buying this product sooner. If your sick of the oversplash from your transducer buy this product and you will not be disappointed! Worth every penny. My kids can now ride in the back without getting completely wet. This product by far works as advertised. Any future boat I buy will have one of these on it.

Have not had it on the water yet. Will update once I see how it performs. They included 4 screws for attachment, I added two more to fill all the holes. Takes 10-20 minutes to install. Hopefully it redirects the spray.

Fits perfectly around the transom pad. Beefed up the screws to make sure the spray shield stays attached. Zero spray or rooster tail is possible with the Boat Zone Transducer Spray Shield. Unsure if it’s going to hold up in rough ocean swells (?) or bust off from the ups and downs, so we’ll see.

As advertised! Works great no more rooster tail coming out the back of my boat.!
