Really nice display case. I got it for my daughter's collection and it really makes it stand out, specially with the velvet base.The case itself was very easy to put together. The base has grooves where each of the panels is inserted. The panels themselves are interlocking, with a very good degree of precision. Then you just have to place the top's open slots over the panels. The whole thing stays together firmly without the need a adhesives, which I really liked. Likewise, it's easy enough to pull the top off should she ever want to change what's being displayed. I had some doubts when ordering an acrylic display, but it's very clear and transparent, almost like glass but without the worry.I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking to display their collectibles.A couple of quick notes that don't take away from the quality:1) They give you a small microfiber cloth to clean the panels from any dust and fingerprints before you enclose your item. DON'T use it. I don't know exactly what materials they use for the cloth, but it created so much static I could see the lint being pulled towards the panels. It made it so much worse. If you have your own cloth for like a phone or glasses use that instead, or if you have soft napkins.2) If you've done your shopping, you've realized that measurements are not universal. Some measure from the outside edge, others inside edge, others the base, and so on...So here are the measurements (photo included):Base is 12 inches edge to edge.Outside display cube is 11 inches from edge to edge with panels being 1/8 in. thick.Inside display is 10 3/4 in. from wall to wall.Top panel (cover) extrudes, it's 11 1/4 in. edge to edge.And overall height is 12 1/4 inches from bottom base to top cover. I feel like there might be a small variance here depending on how much you push the panels into the base when putting it together.

Good quality. True to size. Solidly designed and does exactly what I wanted it to do. Easy access for the times you want to tweak a display but don't want to dismantle the whole thing.

This item came exactly as described looks great and was easy to assemble. Taking away half a star because the protective sheets were not as easy to get off as the instructions made it sound.Packaging was in a sturdy corrugated box with everything in bubble wrap inside that.It was very easy to assemble - once you go the protective sheets off. They provide gloves and a little disc for removing (gloves so you don't leave fingerprints). The disc did nothing to get the edge started. I had to use my fingernails. Though once it started coming away, the disc was helpful.The protective sheet on the base was paper and came off in many pieces, not one smooth peel.Also includes a microfiber cloth in case you do get fingerprints on it.

Updated on 10/06/2020:Just wanted to give a quick update on this item since I got a notification that it has been helpful to at least 5 people. It still looks great and my previous review still stays the same. I bought a second one about a month later and both are of the same size and quality. Still 100% happy with my purchases.This portion of my review is only for any Gunpla builder looking to purchase this to use on their Gundam builds.The model show in my photo is the 1/100 scale MG RX-78-02 Gundam the Origins version. This case has just a little bit of headroom so it is limited on poses if you want to pose it in a way that's taller than its height standing straight up. (I knew this before purchasing) I built a custom MG Unicorn Gundam recently and due to its popularity I can flat out tell you that the MG Unicorn Gundam is an inch or two too tall for this case. I wouldn't recommend this size of case for most 1/100 scale models as they will certainly be too tall and certainly limit your poseability. However, you can easily fit 2-4 HG or RG 1/144 scale Gundams within this case with plenty of head room. If you have an an Action Base 5 for your HG of RG 1/144 Gundam, I would say 2 kits max with 2 Action Base 5's as long as your okay with having them on opposite corners front and back.Past Review:I tried going the cheap route at first by purchasing this type of display case on eBay shipped from China and I ended up learning a lesson. Both are of equal size and equal quality which is fantastic 7I bought this display case due to the high ratings and I am glad I did. The only thing that I'm neutral about is that the only base color I could purchase was Blue. Wish there were a few other colors but I'm fine with it. As the title states this is crystal clear, high quality, and easy to assemble. This is so clear that when I tried to reposition my Gundam model, I had forgotten I put the clear top on and hit my fingers on it, lol. Highly recommend this for anyone looking to protect their models and collectables.

This clear acrylic display case with black acrylic base came well packaged. It was easy to put together and does not detract from the item on display.
