I needed some shelf storage quickly in my bedroom and this VASABLE Book Shelf has been brilliant! It was easy to put together (I managed to do it myself - I'm disabled and fragile) and it is sturdy and solid once put together. All the parts/fixings were present and I didn't have any issues with the right part fitting where it should. To jazz it up a bit I bought some slim, self adhesive mirror tiles and attached them to the top two "bays" at the back to show off the items I have on display on those shelves (lower shelves have bigger items/storage boxes on so I can't see the back board on those shelves anyway). This bookcase matches a lot of the other VASAGLE range with the darker wood coloured MDF and black metal framing. Yes, it shows up dust (especially in a bedroom!) but wipes clean easily and still looks good. Easily customisable with a few twinkly lights or other decor to make them a bit more "interesting" if that's your cup of tea or looks decent enough as is. Safely stores a lot of stuff over a relatively small footprint, while remaining stable (pack heavy items at the bottom, obviously). Very useful. Will get lots of variety out of this unit. Good purchase.

Good sturdy shelf unit Easy to put together and looks 👍

I have purchased 4 vasagle pieces and every single piece has been exceptional quality and so easy to put together. This bookcase is just one of the pieces and goes perfectly into my sons room. It holds a fair amount of items and the shelves are strong. This was more difficult to put together, compared to the other visagle pieces. The backboards didn't want to line up, we had to file some to make them fit. Once together it looks amazing. My son is very pleased. Highly recommend.

Absolutely love them! Good, really sturdy, heavy shelves. The wood is darker than you'll expect but they look beautiful.

The Vasagle range of furniture is excellent...I now have 6 different items, the latest being these shelves (4 sets!). They are very well packaged and the instructions are pretty straightforward to follow. I would recommend 2 people for this particular set of shelves. The screwdriver supplied is fine, but the Allen keys are a little small and fiddly to use. Much better to use a bit driver. Most hex bit sets will include the 2 sizes you'll need for these shelves. A medium Philips head screwdriver is best for the final screws to fit the back panels. I've used an electric screwdriver that I've had for years and it had all the bits I needed...but I did use a manual ratchet screwdriver to do a final tightening. Remember to go through the checklist of all the items listed at the beginning of the instructions...usually you get a few extra nuts and bolts in case of loss. One of the only hassles with this furniture is the small white reference labels that can often be difficult to remove and may leave glue residue. In many cases these are helpfully placed on the side of panels that will be out of sight when the furniture is complete, so they can be a good indicator of which way round some parts go and you don't need to remove them. For those that do need removing, I use some standard label remover (available in most hardware/DIY shops). I've put lots of flat pack stuff together over the years and these are by far my favourite (so far). A bit of effort but well worth it, and the money!

We love this range of furniture. This bookshelf is our second one of the same design, very easy to put together. Very sturdy with adjustable feet to make it level which is a god send on our wonky floors and it looks alot more expensive then it is. Perfect lego storage in our nerdy household.
