Hello Thank you for your question. These stick to our whiteboard but our whiteboard is metal-backed. I suspect most whiteboards are metal-backed but there may be some that are card or wood backed. However, I do not have any recent experiences with this exact situation to give you a definite answer. What I can offer you is information that they do not scratch my white painted fridge and they do not scratch or streak the whiteboards at school.
