Onkyo AV Surround Processor Model ES-600 Pro

I have this unit connected to my family room TV which doesn't have surround sound and with this unit connected it sound like you are right in the movie theater. Very nice sound quality with a number of different settings to sculpt the sound however you like. I give it 2 thumbs up.

This unit is very outdated and processes only Dolby Pro Logic surround which is an analog signal for rear surround speakers. What this means is that you will not get the true stereo effect of current sound systems, and you will only hear a monophonic sound from both back speakers. The ES600 is okay as an amplifier if you don't care about having stereo sound.
