By far best mic for the price
This mic works great! Best USB mic I have ever used. Works well as a room mic for drums. I have used it to record vocals, but it isn't the best for that. It sounds a little bit muddy, and cuts out. However, for just talking it sounds good. It also records bass guitar very well. Sounds crisp and has good bass accuracy. However, it isn't quite cut out for electric guitar--just doesn't sound right. Acoustic guitar sounds great though. It's also very easy to use and quite durable, all metal (except for the little stand thing). Overall, I would definitely recommend as an all around mic. I use it all the time in demos or video calls. It's not quite professional quality though.

Reliable microphone that I bought twice.
I've had this mic for about 8 years. Still works just fine even after my cat has dropped it a million times. Granted, I think this one is one I ordered for my brother later, but his still works just fine as well. Audio quality is good, but not the best. But, I used it for gaming, so that was a non-issue.

A good general mic
It is a mic, that of which it does well enough in that department. The headphone jack right on the front is quite useful and handy, it outputs a bit on the loud side not going to lie, not necessarily a bad thing however, just something to keep in mind. It only has one mode (supercardioid) which is good, but this means that you have to be speaking rather directly in front of it to pick up your voice properly enough, otherwise It'll sound a bit off literally, otherwise it does a stellar job when you are speaking into it at the optimal angle. Overall for only barely over $50 this mic is a good steal imo, I'd recommend if you need something to start out with content creation or whatnot, I dare say it would be good enough for a podcast setting as well, just be sure to get a on mic pop filter cause if you have the input gain set above 85 (on Windows 10 anyhow), if you're loud enough close to the mic or blow into it, it will peak so be aware of that.

Good mic and headphone amp
Mic picks up great details while having good overall noise suppression. Headphone amp is a good compliment providing feedback on mic levels and sound. Stand is ok but allows sound to travel into mic. That is not a problem if the user does not make any contact with the mic stand.

Reviewing after 5 years of use
Review after 5 years: The audio was incredible and honestly it lasted me about 5 years before it finally decided to stop working. The microphone looks great and the $100 I spent on it was well worth it. I used it for audio recording and streaming.

awesome mic for discord and obs!
my headset hurts my ears from time to time and I sometimes just want to take my headset off and just hear everybody through my speakers, but without have to mute my mic. first off, easy plug and play! just from auto adjustments- this mic doesn't pick up any bg noise when I'm gaming or hardly hearing the mashing of my keyboard and mouse clicks. I've tested it plenty of times with the channel and they can automatically tell I got a new mic and even considered buying it themselves. I come out clear and if you're like me, who gets nervous about it picking up stomach growls or heavy wheezing, look no further because this is the mic bahahaha unless you're doing asmr because this mic can do that too! sarcastic, but maybe not. this mic has put my mind at ease. also, amazing mic for vocals. I've tested it out plenty of times singing and it's just a beautiful masterpiece. in love!

Inexpensive but excellent!
I really like this mic. I bought it to replace a Samson C03 because this one allows no-latency earphone monitoring while I record narration. Works great. But most important is the quality of sound. I'm a former radio professional, an award winning public radio journalist and documentary producer and I've worked with a lot of high quality microphones, many of my old associates from back in "the day" swap stories about their favorite mics, mics that they feel made them sound great, mics that today are very expensive. This dang mic may be cheap as dirt but it is very good! If you do voice narration/voice work like I do and like to work a mic close (say, about 3 inches), this mic is Amazing---you simply do not need to spend more. I really think microphone comparisons are mostly subjective (so much depends on the voice or instrument, how the mic is placed, the room, etc.) that it's quite like the audiophile world where endless reviews compare "subtle" differences. Some mics are horrid of course but this is not among them. I demand high quality sound and this is quite satisfactory.

Great sounding mic and very easy to setup. Plug and play. Build quality is great. I would recommend buying a pop filter as well. ***IT COMES WITH A USB WIRE*** don't know why they would sell you the mic without the power wire lol.

After much deliberation looking for a decent USB condenser mic for voice work, I went for this mic. I definitely don't regret it! My use case is using it as a vocal mic for recording podcasts and VoIP (Skype), at my desk at home, with a sprung boom arm, shock mount and pop sheild. The supercardoid pattern does a good job of rejecting sound off of centre. The capsule is very sensitive, and renders vocals with little colouration. In fact if anything it's a bit too sensitive! The gain is controlled via the sound driver on the computer, and I've found it need to be set very low (7-10%) for doing close mic vocal work. One slightly odd thing - if you have the volume set to less than about 5, some slightly weird gating goes under a certain threshold (about -50dB) - mostly not audible but if you're going to compress the recording you might hear bursts of noise. Turn the gain up to 7 or above and that seems to go away (at least, there's consistent background noise instead of weird gate-y background noise). Signal to noise is pretty good, too, and it sounds like the pre-amp is pretty decent, about as good as I would expect for a USB powered in-mic preamp. Unfortunately as it has no XLR output there's not the option to use an external pre and/or mixer, so you're slightly limited there. But really if that's the sort of thing you want to do, you really want to spend a bit more getting a standard condenser and a separate preamp (and/or USB interface). Bass tip up (proximity effect) is quite marked - you get a good boost any closer than about 15cm away. Fantastic for vocals, but if you're looking to record musical instruments you'll need to give it plenty of space to prevent the sound getting muddy (esp. miking the sound hole of an acoustic guitar). The built in windshield is fairly good, but I'm glad I invested in a proper pop shield for close vocal work. The build quality is great - very solid feeling, the bicolour LED indicator is bright enough to see without being blinding (like the fashionable ultra-bright blue LEDs you often see!). The headphone socket is very solid, no fear of breaking it with a tug on the lead. The USB socket feels very solid too - although unlike an XLR it's not locking - so you bear that in mind. The stand which it comes with does feel solid, and the mic does stay steady on it, seems a bit small for the weight - but maybe that's just preference. I'm using this with the shock mount (Samson SP01), which is pretty good quality too. The only slight niggle is that if you want headphones plugged in at the same time as using the shock mount, the headphone jack will interfere with the metalwork - easily solved if you rotate the mic around a little bit in the shock mount, but a bit annoying nonetheless. Also worth mentioning that if you have headphones connected to the mic, they're clearly not going to be isolated by the shock mount so you may need to be a tad careful with the headphone lead to stop it picking up handling noise. What would be nice is a carry case of some sort that fits the mic, USB lead and mini tripod stand - which isn't included. For a low cost mic, it's great value and might be suitable for a home studio or even a professional voiceover booth on a tight budget.
