Perfect cable stops
Bought an older, used set of horse travel panels with cable lines that the original owner had secured with self-drilling screws, which shredded the cable (old nylon clothesline). Replaced the cable with 1/16” plastic coated wire cable and needed cable stops to hold the ends tight. These are perfect! Easy peasy to use, and work great. Couldn’t find them anywhere in town (Home Depot, ACE, TSC, Lowe’s, all losers), except on Amazon (of course). Highly recommend!

Excellent solution to fabricating cable.
I used these cable stops to fix a broken automatic sliding door on my minivan (door is operated by motors, pulleys, and cables). Since I had to snake the cable through pulleys, I couldn't have a shop fabricate custom cable with stops for me as the stops would have made it impossible to install the cable. These Dorman cable stops were an excellent solution, easy to use, and made a very strong cable end.My only complaint is that the set screws are too long for thicker cable, so I had to cut them down with a rotary tool so that the overall height of the installed cable stop was suitable for the application.Wish they were easier to find.

Fixed my Honda Odyssey sliding door
These fit perfect for my 2015 Honda Odyssey when repairing the automatic sliding door cable. The cable had broken and needed replacement (common issue on these vehicles). The cable stops from the factory are not removable. I used a set of these Dormans along with some new cable to repair it. The cable stops snap perfectly into the retainer for the Door Carriage hinge. One thing I am not sure was correct, when installing the cable stops, as I tightened down the screw, the head of the screw broke off. This happened on both cable stops. However, the cable stop did its job and held tight!
