A good torch with lots of functionality. The UV light is particularly helpful in finding areas of the house that need cleaning better (as it shows stains that are invisible to the naked eye). And is great if you use a carpet cleaner to see areas of the carpet that are the most stained and need more cleaning cycles! The pics show cutlery not washed well, and a stain down a cupboard indicating it needs a good bleaching (house maid will be sacked tomorrow - only joking!) This works even in daylight, but obviously is even better in low light conditions. The red/white flash cob light would be great to use if you breakdown in a car and need to alert other users (especially those truck drivers, that don't see you until the last moment!). Pros: 1)A great level of light that will easily let you see 100 meters away on full beam using the zoom. 2)Magnetic base, 3) good level of functions. 4) batteries should last a reasonable amount of time (may add to the review with exact figures later if possible). Capacity listed on the battery seems to be accurate (2200mah), based on the weight, and yes I did weigh them (sorry but some Asian sellers put ridicules figures or even impossible capacities on things like batteries). 5) The torch can still be used while charging (I sometimes use a power bank) Cons:1) feels a little heavier than other torches I've used. 2) There is no way to fit a lanyard, and the clip spins around, this may be fixed by gluing the clip in place 3) The battery capacity aren't the worse, but higher capacity ones are available, such as 3500mah-4000. 4) The charge leads MIGHT be little thin, This may charge quicker with a thicker lead (will do a test later) Overall a very well made Torch, much better that a lot on the market!

We bought these torches to walk our dog, they are great value for money, you get two in the box which was a pleasant surprise. They both contain one 18650 rechargeable battery each and come with two usb charging leads. The torches are VERY bright, I cannot speak for all the lumens stuff however to my eye they do a great job. One of the most useful things is the magnet on the bottom, the torch will stick to any magnetic surface and with the cob light function it shines a bright light from the side of the torch. The UV function is a funny thing to have on a torch, I do not recommend using this function in the bathroom if you have young boys in the house as it highlights urine and you will see just how poor their aim is no matter how clean you keep it. The cob light is very bright also and one of the functions is to alternate a red/white flashing sequence, this made me feel like I was back in a warehouse in the 1990s all over again. Not sure if the strobing effect has the possibility to induce seizures but buyer beware, it is very bright and very quick strobing. PROS: -Really bright. -Good cob light. -Great magnet. -Rechargeable battery included. -Good zoom feature. -Great value for money. CONS: -The UV function is scarily good at detecting unseen urine spots, do not use if you have young boys. -The strobing cob light function is very bright and flashes red/white quickly, it may be a little too quick a sequence for people who are sensitive to this kind of thing. We were after some UV torches gor a local Geocaching walk where UV was required to spot some of the night time caches. After a quick search these popped up and for the price they looked quite reasonable. The fact there was two made it almost half the price of some other torches that were on the site. When they arrived i was a little dissapointed that one of the torches had a battery missing. So a quick message later and they had apologised and had sent a replacement battery. (I waited until the other battery arrived before writing this). We soon had both torches charged (they took around 3 hours) and tested them. The torches are super bright and whilst the spot light mode is a little useless the other modes and "working" light are perfect. The UV is great and also works a treat. The rubber cover is aittle fragile and it needs to be remembered that it's not a "flap" syle cover rather than a cover that rotates round to reveal the charge point. We noted alot of people have said that you need to hit the button 6 or seven times to get the torch through all the torch modes, but this is not the case. You just hold the power button and the torch switches straight off. Totally worth the price that is placed on them, especially for 2.
