Excellent, easy to use power-outage monitor. Very responsive and helpful team, great website and reliable notifications on electricity and wifi status. We have set up several of these in different countries around the world and it works extremely well. Great value for money

I did have this product but it stopped working. Contacted company and sent it back. They sent me a new one. Very good service. I use it to monitor power outage to protect freezers, etc + Internet working. I like: Easy to set up and use. Clear instructions. Clear warning emails quickly delivered - I subscribe to phone messages as well - well worth it. Good company service from my experience.

I went on holiday a few years ago and came back to a defrosted fridge & freezer!!! A trip had gone on my fuse board I found this unit on Amazon. If you loose power it sends a email to you free or if you want a text it will cost you £15 a year. Well worth the piece of mind knowing you can monitor it and take action if you need. I've tested it and it works really well.

Very simple to set up. It sends an email every time i unplug it to simulate a power outage, and sends another one when the power comes on again. I just discovered a bonus function - if the wifi goes offline, the device sends an email, then sends another when wifi is restored, saying "We inform you that on 19-03-2025 03:46:28 Central European Time, Internet service has been restored. The service was interrupted for a total of 1 minutes. Please note that NO power supply outage occurred."

Don't waste your money on this. They give you a limit of mail notifications. But every time their Spanish set er loses power or loss of internet you get a mail which counts on your daily quota - they have so many outages I continuously get emails & then I e to say my email has been suspended. So chances are you will miss your own genuine power outage. I wrote to them to complain but had a stupid form returned that was irrelevant to the issue! Don't bother with it!

Everything worked according to the instructions and without any hitch. Once registered, an email was received to provide a link for activation of the device. This was received within about 2 minutes of registration and if the same applies when there is a power break in the future that will enable me to take whatever action may be necessary and should avoid a late discovery of disastrous effect.

Very impressed. It’s inexpensive. Email notifications advising power failure and reconnection are free. I read a zero as an ‘O’ when entering the ID so needed help from their WhatsApp helpline. Promptly replied to on a Sunday morning and very helpful. I have the unit plugged into my fridge and freezer circuit whilst we are on holiday abroad and the neighbour has a key if the fuse relays need resetting. I’m really impressed with this small, tidy piece of kit and the support that’s available. Genuine peace of mind!

Perfetto!! Facile da installare e perfettamente funzionante.

J’ai acheté ce matériel en avril 2023 je cherchais un outil car j’avais (à cette époque) des coupures de courant assez régulières. L’enregistrement sur le site « ControlloCasa » quoiqu’un peu complexe est très bien expliquée dans le manuel accompagnant (traduit en 5 langues). L’USBy ne nécessite pas de carte SIM ni d’abonnement, simplement pour transmettre des mails d'alarme. On peut l’alimenter sur une prise USB de la box ou à défaut, avec un petit chargeur de téléphone. La connexion au WiFI ( !! portée maxi 3m) est efficace (détection du réseau local, appairage, et mise en action). Le fonctionnement type « WatchDog » s’effectue environs toutes les 3 minutes par connexion à la box internet et envoi du résultat sur un serveur sécurisé. La notification par mail en cas de non réponse à cette connexion est quasi immédiate, celle du retour de la connexion indique aussi la durée de la coupure. (Cette rupture peut être due à une coupure de courant mais aussi à la perte de connexion internet dans ce dernier cas le message précisera s’il y a eu ou pas coupure de courant). J’ai toujours été prévenu au bon moment. Petit plus : Le site propose divers améliorations (abonnement annuel à prix très modique : information par SMS, seconde adresse mail), utile pour partager les notifications. Un SAV au top. J’ai fait appel à ce service lors de ma demande d’adhésion au service SMS-me. La rapidité et la pertinence des réponses (dans la langue utilisateur) sont particulièrement efficaces. Le SAV et le technicien ont fait preuve de réactivité, de professionnalisme et d’empathie en m’aidant dans les divers essais réalisés. La dernière intervention est due à mon USBy qui envoyait de faux positifs, étant absent donc dans l’impossibilité de faire une mise à jour, le SAV à lui-même upgradé mon appareil à distance. Je recommande ce matériel autant pour sa qualité et que pour son SAV.

Acheté ce produit pour etre informé d’une coupure de courant en mon absence. Les instructions d’installation disponibles en plusieurs langues sur le site du fabricant sont claires et complètes: installation et test en 15min, tout est opérationnel. Rare de trouver un tel niveau de qualité de produit et de support. Je recommande fortement ce produit.

Har tidigare haft en enhet för strömavbrottslarm baserad på 3G nätet. Nu när det ska stängas ner så är denna USBy perfekt, larmar via internet och e-post. Rekommenderas!

Lo compré para una segunda residencia ya que a veces si saltaba el diferencial y nos encontrábamos con toda la comida estropeada en los congeladores. Cumple su función, cuando se va la luz te envía un mensaje a los pocos minutos y otro cuando regresa. Si se va menos de un minuto creo que no envía nada, por lo menos a mí me pasó. También confunde la falta de corriente con el corte de internet. Cuando falló la línea de internet mando un mensaje de que se había ido la luz, si bien es cierto que cuando regresó sí que en el mensaje ponía que había sido corte de internet. Señalar también que a mí me costó un poco configurarlo, si bien con ayuda de Google lo conseguí. Yo lo tengo conectado a un enchufe de corriente con un cargador de un móvil porque el ruter no tenía puerto USB y funciona bien. Hay que tener internet para que el aparato funcione.
