AMD Ryzen 3 3100 4-Core, 8-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor with Wraith Stealth Cooler

The CPU was very easy to pick and very easy to install and use. It's given me no problems, and it runs Fortnite, Rocket League, and roblox really well. Very optimal for price to performance.

Excellent budget processor. I'm confused as I was under the impression this would be under $100, but I paid $120? Either way, for a 3rd Gen processor, and what this delivers, it still felt like a great deal. While AMD's listing shows Base Clock at 3.6GMz, with a boost clock max at 3.9 GHz, I was able to use UEFI's OC Genie to get 4.17-4.20 GHz steady. I'm running the stock fan (Wraith Stealth Cooler). It also allowed my Ram to run 3000MHz steady OC. For reference I'm using RTX 2060. I've been able to run GTA V at higher settings and obtain up to 90 fps depending on the scenario (Grass settings at Ultra was a frame-killer). GTA V is a fairly CPU-Heavy game. Minecraft also ran perfectly for me, the RTX Beta version ran smooth as well with this CPU. I have 3 intake fans and 1 exhaust fan that all helped to maintain a cool environment for the CPU.

AMD has really ramped up its quality and is easily overtaking INTEL, I have the first generation of the ryzen 7 series, and have never looked back at INTEL since. Intel for the longest has upcharged / overcharged for their CPU's and this affected the gaming community for the longest. Come into the stage AMD, with their revolutionary Ryzen architecture and it's amazing multi-threaded piece of hardware. It easily overtakes Intel in all the corners, and the best part? AFFORDABLE. Anyway I slapped this bad boy into a desktop I set up for my mother to use for a really long term. If you're looking for a CPU for gaming, consider the 5 or 7 series, and if you have money to ball with -> Ryzen ThreadRipper. Ryzen 7 series, you'll be able to stream your gameplay no problem, I unfortunately do not have a desktop built with the 5th series so I wouldn't know. The current 3rd series that I have installed on my mother's computer can handle modern games, but I'd generally steer away if you are considering a gaming setup. This is a decent office / some rendering that requires CPU, multithreaded work.

Ok, this is a very popular chip for a reason. 4 core 8 threads, excellent GHz, excellent price. But there is 1 problem. I have built countless PCs over the yeas. Servers, workstations, cheap, expensive, you name it. I watch Linus tech tips, today's #1 AMD evangelist. Yet somehow I didn't know that this chip HAS NO VIDEO CAPABILITY. You MUST buy a discreet video card for this chip. I see where it says it is capable of very high FPS gameplay "with appropriate video card." I get that. What I understood was that you can get HIGHER FPS if you put in a discreet GPU, not that you get ZERO video output with no discreet GPU. I can't be the only person to make this mistake. Pls put in a clear disclaimer that this chip REQUIRES A DISCREET GPU. really, this is a 5 star chip but you get 4 stars for the hassle I endured on my build. 10/10 will buy again, don't worry, and next time with a discreet GPU from the start.

I was looking for the 3300x but the supply was pretty limited and got this instead for now. It's very impressive for the price and performance it shows. I might upgrade to the 3rd gen Ryzen, but will have to wait and see if it also offers a value CPU and the Big Navi as well. I already have the rest of the required components, just have to wait for the upcoming AMD CPU and GPU.

Works fine with Gigabyte B550M DS3H, NVIDIA Quadro M2000, Crucial Ballistix 3200 MHz, no problems, low temp (normal use 40 C, max use 70 C) and low noise with stock fan, very low power consumption (max 50 W), it's a good idea learn first from a video installation to prevent wasting the included thermal paste

It was one of the best budget CPUs at one point in time. The lack of availability made them overpriced. I was lucky enough to get one and was thoroughly impressed by its speed and energy efficiency compared to my R5 2600. There are probably newer better CPUs for the price now.

Un genial procesador calidad - precio que bien acompañado te lo va a mover todo en FullHD por unos 600-700 euros. El corazón ideal para un pc que sin grandes pretensiones te vale para cualquier cosa por un precio muy asequible

Vindo de um sistema AM3+ com um FX-6300, o Ryzen 3 3100 é um processador que foi muito além das minhas espectativas. Atividades exigentes em um núcleo finalizam rapidamente e, mesmo com uma GTX 1060, a performance em jogos é excelente. As temperaturas são boas, não costumando chegar a 70°C com o cooler incluso, mesmo em games. Para quem está começando com CPUs mais modernas, é uma excelente porta de entrada.

AMD RX 570 4GB ekran kartıyla gayet güzel bir performans veriyor, overclock gibi bir şey söz konusu değil. AMD işlemci konusunda son nesilde intele iyi fark attı. Düşünmeden alabilirsiniz.

Best processor under 10,000 rs in India I think 1- it has better clock speed and architecture in this segment 2- not much heating issue well it's winter and maybe low heating due to cold surrounding 3- best for gaming I paired with rtx 3060 ti and getting beast performance 4- video editing I have never tried but it can handle that one also 5- if you get it under 9k then this will be value for money
