Works well...
My husband has been pleased with this mallet so far. He's used it on a few projects, including putting paint lids back on. He's also been having to replace flooring throughout our house and it's worked well for that task, too. The handle is hickory and seems like it'll last well. It's comfortable on his hands and not splintery. The top is supposed to be non-marring and so far it's lived up to that. It's done just what it's supposed to for him so far.

Nice handle and well formed rubber head
There really isn't much that goes into a rubber mallet, but this version get the small details right. The hickory handle is straight, strong and smoothly finished. The rubber head is dense and strong. The two pieces seem securely bonded together.I expect to be hitting things with this for many years :).

Solid
I'm very happy with this mallet. It is pretty lightweight but nicely balanced to deliver a solid strike. The hickory handle feels solid and the head durable. I keep one on hand to seat the lids on my paint and stain cans and to do some occasional DIY tasks. The kids tore up my last one hitting nails with it, and this one is a satisfactory replacement.

It worked very well for small jobs.
I worked extremely well with this rubber hammer making assembly. The grip is comfortable. The weight feels just right, and it doesn't leave a dent. The rubber head won’t damage surfaces while assembling furniture when striking in my experience. It’s great for smaller jobs such us pounding paint can lid, nudging parts up to the connection.

Sturdy with good balance and weight
As far as mallets go, it’s solid quality. The hickory handle is lightweight and the rubber head is sturdy. Great for driving tasks requiring a mallet. Good overall weight and balance. I haven’t needed it yet for any punishing projects but hope it’s up to the task when I do. Not really a lot more I can say about a mallet other than it works fine for the rare occasions I need a mallet.

It will get the job done
Rubber mallet... what's there to say except it has some weight to it, rubber is solid, nice wood handle, and you can whack the crap out of something when needed... hopefully not your finger! All thumbs up from this handyman's perspective!

Handy but somewhat heavy tool
This is a very handy tool and works great, just as it is supposed to. My only complaint is that it’s pretty heavy but it probably tells the weight in the item description, so that’s my fault for not reading it more closely. It’s not something I need to use very often so the weight isn’t much of an issue. It seems to be well made so I don’t anticipate any problems with it.
