This is exactly what you need if you are trying to raise the height of the shower-head in your shower. Worked like a charm other than I needed to use some teflon tape on one of the fixtures to prevent leaking, but that's to be expected with this type of stuff. We'll see how long it lasts of course. I also think it increases the water pressure a tad because the pipe is smaller than the other pipes bringing water in.

No leaks whatsoever, I didn't have high hopes for quality because of the price but it holds up my oversized rainfall showerhead wonderfully.

Definitely a great buy if your needing to lift up your shower head if it's too low. Definitely 5 🌟.I bought this extension shower bar knowing of it's slight issue of not being straight when you put it on so I thought I'd give it a try anyway. This bar doesn't go on straight has a bit of an angle yo it but besides that I babe had no issues with it at all except every now and then someone decides to adjust it they make it loose so I just gently hand tighten it back into place. I guess that would be your con.Now as far as I'm concerned I paid for what I got a really great shower extension that I'm able to adjust the height of my shower head now from the top of my head. Before I would have to bend down a bit to to get the top of my head which is really uncomfortable doing every time I shower but not anymore. I have it high enough now so when I get into the shower I ain't got to worry about hitting my head or bending down no more even though every now and then I catch myself doing it anyway. Look if your having issues standing in your own shower and are tired of the old bend the knees or hit your head routine and don't mind the so called slight right mean issue then by all means buy it. Well worth every cent in my book. Here's a pic of it in my shower now.

I like the fact the shower head is up higher when you're tall it makes for a more enjoyable experience, but it doesn't have a perfect fit I've tightened it pretty good and I have plumbers tape on the threads but it will still have a drip or a slight leak as it's being used. You can't expect too much from universal fits. Other than that I'm very pleased.

The female nut that gets installed on the shower water inlet doesn't freely rotate, so you have to do a bit of extra work (additional shower tape) to get it to mount correctly. My unit is still not fully tightened, but its sealed enough that there is no leaking.This would be an excellent product if the female nut was free spinning, so you wouldn't be constrained to your shower inlet threads.However, you can still install this item and get it to line up straight with a bit of extra work.For the price and quality, I gave it 5 stars. This also increased my shower pressure a little bit, so I was pleasantly surprised.
