Best filter for me water comes clear and good taste good quality for the low price

Works great and easy to install. Much better than the whirlpool brand filter we used to get from Lowe's. Our well water has a ton of iron and minerals in it, and this filter removes most, if not all of it. The difference was very apparent when I took my first shower after installing the filter. Fixing our water has also fixed my dry skin.

These work pretty well. I use these in a portable system to remove sediment for water cooled equipment. So far, they flow very well for a 1 micron filter. I sampled the water after going through the filter and it tasted good. That's saying a lot because I use well water with a fair amount of sediment and minerals. I was somewhat disappointed with the filter fit. I used this in a filter housing I've used for a while. Every other 21/2 x 10 filter I have used in it fits well. These filters were too short by about .100". I even tried to tighten the filter cup tighter but I was afraid it might break. I had to add a .100 thick rubber washer at one end to seal the filter to the housing. I had 3 of these filters and I did try a second one and it was also too short. Once I applied the washer there were no issues. These are good filters but when you tighten the filter cup be aware of a loose fit in the housing.

I replace them every month, and the recommended filter capacity is every 3,000–5,000 gallons, which works well for my household. Since switching to these filters, I’ve noticed a big improvement in water taste and a reduction in buildup in my appliances and faucets. Even though my municipal tap water is already well-filtered, these raise the bar and make a noticeable difference. They’ve earned a permanent spot on my Subscribe & Save list. The only minor issue is that out of every 8 filters, there’s usually one where the plastic mesh isn’t installed correctly—but it’s easy to fix by reinstalling it myself. For the price and performance, this is a fantastic value. These ICEPURE water filter cartridges are excellent replacements for my whole house filtration system. The 1 micron carbon block effectively removes sediment, chlorine taste and odor, and other contaminants. Water quality noticeably improved after installation with better taste and no chlorine smell. The 2.5x10 inch size is standard and fits my filter housing perfectly. Installation was straightforward - just swap out the old cartridge. The carbon block is dense and well-constructed without any loose material or defects. Water flow rate is strong with no pressure drop issues. These filters last the expected lifespan before needing replacement. The multi-pack provides good value compared to buying single cartridges. I appreciate having compatible replacements at a fraction of the cost of name brand filters. The filters arrived well-packaged and sealed. Faites attention au système que vous avez. Dans mon cas, ce n'était le bon type de filtre. C'est filtres sont ouvert au deux bouts. Mon réceptable n'est pas fait pour ce type de filtre, car il ne bouche pas le bout du bas.
