Awesome out of the box… WITH UPDATES!
Can compare them only with multiple 6” EVERBOOTS and such, Goodyear welt, I wore for several years now.My first direct attach work boots ever, hope I don’t get disappointed:)Soles full centimeter thicker, combined with 8” - yeah, whole lot of extra support that I never got from 6” Goodyear welt! Now, Goodyear welt took some serious beating - 9 months to a year of barn work; gravel, concrete, mud and barnyard acids, 15-20 hrs/week; hope these can match that and I will give them all the care they need:)Curious how they hold up; will update! Two week update:A bit of an issue after less than 40hrs of wear!2 small cracks in between the rubber outsole and the midsole - where thick bottom rubber meets the thinner one next up (in my case where black meets the lighter color or where orange meets the next one up in some).Very small separation as if a surgeon made a tiny incision; one maybe 3mm long and 1mm deep, other less.Plugged em with shoe goo by pressing hard against them; job well done, shoe goo!Cosmetics or a sign of dreaded sole separation, don’t know yet but will monitor&report:)Upsides are many compared to what I wore for years; this is the first time I’m walking properly in my work boots!Outsoles seem to be wear resistant for a combination of concrete, dirt, gravel and some horse poop:)

Very nice pair of boots
Ok, haven't had these boots for long but so far, SO FAR I'm impressed. I've been through 4 pairs of boots trying to find something just right for Harley riding, and I seem to have finally found the right pair.I normally wear an 11EE but have found all the other boots I've tried, including alternate model Timberlands, have been way too wide in that size, so I got a standard size 11 and they're perfect, wide enough for my flat feet but not so wide that my foot is moving all over or that I look as if pontoons have been strapped to the ends of my legs. The tread is deep and aggressive, just right to minimize slipping on gravel while feet-down on the bike, but not so high that I had to adjust the toe shifter to fit the boot underneath. They slip on decently, there is no pull-strap on the back which would have been a nice feature, but so far I haven't really missed it as I've pulled the boots on, YMMV. The interior sole comfort is good, medium cushy; not Saucony sneakers but not stiff and hard either, I might add a gel insole eventually. As for the waterproof aspect that others have complained about, I have no idea, I don't use these boots as outdoor workers, only for riding the bike.Overall I think this a really nice boot especially for the price point, you get an aggressive sole, quality leather, and apparent durability. The only thing I would change is the length of the laces, I couldn't get the included laces through all the eyelets with enough spare length to tie them.

Good Workin Boots
Decent boots. I am comparing these to the TimberLand BoonDocks which was the last pair of boots before these. The toe is very soft even tho I know the toes are non-re-inforced. Prone to folding in and I have to pop the toe back out. Not a big deal really. They are comfortable however and don’t rub the top of your toes like some composite/steel toes.Traction is good in most regular outdoor and wet conditions but NOT ICE!The included insoles are good quality and I will buy a TimberLand replacement set in a month or so.The stitching is holding up just fine so far (I’ve had these for about 3months of daily wear)These boots are bonded so if u work in Electrical field these would be good for that.Overall: These are pretty GOOD, daily wear work boots (7.5 /10). I liked the BoonDock Pro more but these r half the price currently and a good deal at 109$ . I usually wear a size 8.5 but got a 9 this time cuz I have kinda wide feets. They fit good and I like the TimberLand brand insoles.
