KenwoodExcelon Kfc-xp184c 7" Component Speaker System

Perfect fit for my 2008 Toyota Tundra Crewmax!!! Even the tweeters fit into the existing sail panels from the stock tweeters, I just had to remove the outer shell which is a simple twist and pull. My stock JBL system amp died as well as driver side speaker blew so I had to do a complete upgrade, new wiring, amp, speakers and sub. I wanted to keep the project as simple as possible since this was my first time doing something like this. These Kenwoods as well as the KFC-709PS Kenwood Kfc-P709Ps 6.5-Inch Performance Series Component Speaker System in the rear doors fit the job perfectly. Very easy installation, the speaker mounts that came in the box worked great. If you have need for new speakers for your Tundra and don't want too much hassle in worrying if they will fit or not, grab these and put your mind at ease, they fit and sound fantastic!! A nice replacement from my stock JBL system when on a tight budget.

The speakers are great, have two of these in the front doors of my 2004 Dodge Ram 2400, flush mounted the tweeters in my sail panels. The connectors with the speakers leave a little to be desired, but installation is a breeze and they even include the necessesary foam surrounds to focuse the sound through your door speaker baffles. Very nice, nothing left out. The sound is clear, good quality, and plenty of power. Pushed with a Memphis 500.4 amp and a kenwood ddx5 HU. Would definitely buy again.

Great ser of components for the money. Woofers punch hard. Included backing plates make installation simple. Installed in 2018 subaru BRZ

Put these in my ram. I love quality sound and thats what I expected from kenwoodBut not at all what I got. No bass just troubleI would have been better off buying Walmart kickers

Installed in a 2006 Toyota Sequoia, with 7" Excelon speakers in the rear doors as well. The included adapter plate will work, one of the screw holes will not line up but there's enough meat on the plastic to hold in securely enough in-place from the edge with the door bolt. Very impressed with the sound, especially the tweeters - they don't sound tinny. The bass hits pretty good, if you didn't know any better you'd think I had an amp/sub combo installed.

This item was obviously used and returned. The big red barcode stickers were the first giveaway. The tattered box was the second one. The items were not fit back in the box correctly when repackaged. I paid full price for these as new and did not receive them as described. Buyers beware.

They sound good when combined with a sub. I wouldn't say they have much bass on their own. Have them powered up by a JL Audio 75w/channel amp. Sound is clear and I really had to push them to the point of it hurting my ears to get some distortion, so that's a big plus. The brackets worked great to install where the previous 6x9s were, although if I had to replace these in the future I think I would go ahead and stick with a set of good 6x9s.They aren't horrible at all, just not as mind-blowing as I thought they would be after reading all the great reviews, especially those that said they were better than 6x9s.

These speakers are clear and they do not distort at volume, I am running these off an aftermarket headunit and they sound fantastic im afraid of what they will sound like with an amplifier as they get very loud as is. Anyone looking for a speaker set that is clear and keeps up with dynamic music will love these.
