It works!
I searched for the exact monitor make and model, to get these replacement screws, because I lost the screws during our move to hold the stand underneath the monitor. I went on for 6 months with just hoping my monitor would hold and never fall. Then I thought about searching for replacement screws and see if it works. My surprise was that it worked at the first attempt! Yay!! Now the monitor is stable again, as it was meant to me, with 4 strong screws of the right size.

Perfect fit
Bought the Bravia 9 Sony Soundbar. Came with 2 stands to screw on bottom if you dont need to wall mount. No screws came for it. Took a shot on this 16mm size. Perfect fit, 2 screws Stands in and tight.

Correct replacement
Was the correct screw required to attach my Sony model tv to its stand. The cost for the screw is nearly $2 each.... a little steep (about that price when inquiring various places for that specific "Sony" screw), but overall worth it instead of trying to match the correct size and length at a hardware store.

The screws worked but should have ordered 12 mm instead of 16 mm. Will look locally for a shorter screw. A little pricey for four screws.
