Excellent
Catchmaster Tree Banding Insect Barrier is a practical solution designed for gardeners and homeowners looking to protect their trees from crawling insects. By wrapping this band around the trunk, it creates a sticky barrier that traps pests like caterpillars, ants, and beetles before they can reach the foliage and cause damage. One of the standout features of this product is its ease of use. The band is simple to apply and adheres securely without harming the tree. It’s also weather-resistant, ensuring it stays effective throughout the season. Many users appreciate how it reduces the need for chemical pesticides, offering a more eco-friendly option for pest control. Overall, the Catchmaster Tree Banding Insect Barrier is a reliable and efficient way to keep trees healthy and pest-free. If you’re seeking a low-maintenance, non-toxic method to protect your trees, this product is definitely worth considering.

Catchmaster catches deer flies and keeps them stuck!
Catchmaster works great! I smeared it on a blue coffee container to catch deer flies. Super easy to use. I used a tongue depressor to smear on a thin layer. It's sticky gooey stuff, exactly what I was expecting! I had that hanging outside, seeing sun about half the day, and this stuff never ran, dripped, moved which was awesome because I was worried about the stuff dripping onto the deck on a hot day. I would highly recommend for you to try for whatever sticky project you have. Next year I'll use the blue solo cups and try those because the blue caught 95+% dear flies only. I used vegetable oil to remove this sticky stuff off my hands along with paper towels, then repeated, then washed with soap and water.

As advertised
I am trying this product for the first time against Gypsy Moth caterpillars. So far, it's working well. I may need to buy some more to keep the pests under control. If the product continues to save my trees I would be inclined to offer a total 5 Star rating across the board. The only negative I have: my "kit" did not come with a spreader. I used a putty knife. Clean up is a little difficult. This stuff is really sticky - which is what you want, but cleaning up is tough. I used gasoline on a paper towel.

Sticky and gooey
Works great. I use it on avocado tree to keep the rodents soft and they don’t like the stuff.

Efficient guard against red ants
Applied it for the first time on the top shaft of my tree trimming pole saw. Normally when I start cutting, the giant aggressive red ants will start crawling down the pole to bite my hands and get under my clothes. But this time the job was far more relaxing because the insect barrier stopped the ants in their track so to speak. They simply got stuck in the glue. Very impressive.

Sticky sticky sticky!!!!
I'm giving the product a 5 star for max stickiness. The container was crushed by Amazon's poor packaging. I received a bubble envelope filled with the stickiest mess you could imagine.

Not For Squirrels
This does attract, catch, and deter a lot of insects! It doesn't seem to deter, or even slow down, larger pests such as squirrels, though, at least in my yard. If one asks, Rufus, Amazon AI bot, will say that it is effective in controlling squirrels. I don't know what kind of squirrels Rufus is referring to. In my yard, I've used 5 canisters of this stuff on my cherry & oak trees this year. Next year, I'm making some baffles instead!
