Great Value
We ordered these on line because we couldn't find them in the grocery stores. We eat a lot of beans so the size of bag was perfect and the beans are just as described, delicious too!

They look odd in the bags, but they cook up great quality and uniform
These are great beans. I always sort, but found no foreign matter, discarded a few beans. Overnight soaking made the beans more uniform, and they held together well on cooking. Flavor and texture excellent. Recommended.

Quality
I am a huge fan of Black Eyed Peas and found these to be of good quality and fair price which is something to be said for this horrible economy. I like to soak before cooking and they were delicious and fresh tasting. I would highly recommend.

Beautiful, clean, but. . .
Beans were beautiful, exceptionally clean. First time I made them, used the "quick soak" method. Then added to a kale/pasta soup per recipe's direction. They never, ever became soft. My bad, the recipe directed to add tomatoes. Against my better judgment, I did (taught never to add acidic ingredients before beans are done). Found myself plucking out the beans while I ate. Undaunted, I immediately tried another recipe. Beans soaked for 10 hours. Cooked in crockpot 4 hours on high. Nope. Beans were still not done. Many had split, however, and the skins were very thick. From what I've been able to gather, this might be an indication of old beans. I'll try Cranberry beans again, perhaps not from this brand.
