Microsoft Project 2019 B.A.S.I.C.S.: Your A-Z Guide for Building Agile and Task-Based Schedules Kindle Edition

This book is dramatically overpriced for what it contains. The information is over simplified, and redundant, even for a brand new user of Project, such as myself. If all the negative space, unnecessary repetition and useless graphics were removed, this 400 page text would be reduced to a quarter of the size. I literally read this cover to cover, and did all the practice exercises, in less than three days, so that is not an exaggeration. The book claims to have additional info online, but the free companion website does not offer any additional information or exercises; again, redundant and unnecessary. The book repeatedly mentions other online resources that you, of course, have to pay additionally for. Not to mention all of the typos throughout the book... There are superior Project books for a fraction of the cost. I would not recommend buying this book.

Having purchased both the Microsoft Project 2019 and MS Project BASICS I must say the BASICS is my go to manual. It is organized in a manner that allows you to quickly learn or go to specific portions of the manual for reference. The videos and learning exercises enable anyone with or without MS Project experience to learn, organize and develop detailed schedules with ease. I definitely would recommend!!!

Great book! If you want to learn Microsoft Project, in a way that you can practically use...this is the book you want. The 6-step "BASICS" approach really simplifies the tool. The practice exercises (with the solutions on the book website) are really helpful. The color images and the bonus vides are also a great add to the visual learning experience. I was able to quickly use Project to create a schedule.

Taking the MS Project course at UCLA with Jerry Reed. This book is easy to understand & learn MS Project. Worth the buy.

The text is easy to follow, clear, and concise. The challenges at the end of each chapter provide a great way to practice applying the material.
