The best sandbox
This is the cutest sandbox ever. It’s a good size and sturdy. My husband hates assembling things so I did it myself with no problems. A drill definitely made things easier. The shade is great. My only issue is water pooling on the cover when it’s not in use and it rains. Because of how bad it pools, I was worried the water would soak through, but so far it hasn’t and we’ve had a lot of rain so I’m really happy with that. We’ve had other plastic sandboxes but I love this one so much more, especially because of the seats.

This one’s a winner!
I was very weary of buying a sandbox online but I’m so glad I took the chance with this one. It was easy to set up, just make sure like with any wood, don’t over tighten and you shouldn’t have any issues, plus I appreciated the instructions that were more than adequate to put together correctly, just make sure when you are lifting and lowering the top that both sides are even, then you just twist the knobs on either side. Easy peasy! I can get it set up for play in seconds by myself and then kick my feet up, plus bench seats are easy to fold out and I can sit comfortably while my 2 year old plays with ample room.Let’s talk durability..honestly I’m very impressed with the quality, It’s a nice strong wood (no splits or cracking and sanded down nicely to avoid splinters), it held up all winter in the IL snow with nothing over it except the cover that it comes with and it held up great! The cover is removable and attached with strong Velcro so if you ever need to give it a rinse with the hose it’s a snap without getting the sand wet. For reference we used four 5-pound bags of play-sand to fill and it worked out perfect.Overall, it’s a nice, durable sandbox that you will be able to enjoy for years to come..plus you don’t have to sit in the sand to play with your kids..you can be comfy too!

Perfect for toddlers !!
I would give it 5 , but I’m not sure how it will hold up since we just got it. The wood is good quality , the canopy is so helpful and nice to keep the bugs out. My boys played in it for hours !! Ages 2 & 4!! Buy it !!

My Kids Love This Sandbox!
My kids absolutely adore this Aivituvin Kids Sandbox! The pop-up canopy provides much-needed shade on sunny days, keeping them cool and comfortable while they play. The foldable bench seats are a fantastic addition, giving them a place to sit and relax when they're not digging. The sandbox itself is sturdy and easy to assemble, and the included cover helps keep the sand clean when not in use. This sandbox has been a huge hit in our backyard, providing hours of imaginative play and outdoor fun.

Looks cute BUT will it last the rest of summer?!
It wasn't too terrible to assemble yet some of the pictures in the instruction manual did not match what it actually looked like so it threw me for a loop for about 20 minutes because it didn't make sense. Then I looked at the cover and was like oh okay this is the right way. This wood is extremely SOFT. Looks to be treated but I can't be for certain but under NO CIRCUMSTANCES should you try to put together the "canopy" alone and be VERY careful when drilling the screws in. If you go too fast you'll split the wood. If I could return this I would because I'm not sure it'll even last the summer because the canopy is so flimsy. Also on top of the wood splitting the canopy velcro doesn't line up, the bottom material just lays on the ground (which I find to be weird) so once the sand is in there you arent moving it, and lowering and rasing the top is a very precarious situation. I suggest you spend more money and buy a better version of this because I ended up gluing the top portion together just so it wouldn't fall apart. How did I get duped into buying this?! I stg it has waaaaay better reviews then it should have.Update 5/6/2023: The whole top has completely broken and will no longer stay up at all. To be clear this isnt just sitting out in the middle of the yard. I placed mine next to a shed so the wind wouldnt disturb it as mich when there was a storm. Really though it spent most of winter in the down position but I went to lift it up one day, and nope it's had it. It being able to be closed isn't super ideal either. I have to somehow figure out how to scoop all this sand out now because all kinds of bugs have decided to move into the sand pit so if you close it up for winter, figure out how to actually close it up. Or risk your kids getting bit by all sorts of things. This is legit an eyesore now. Spend more money and don't buy this garbage.

Good until it wasnt
We loved our sand box and the ability to close it to keep it safe from the outdoor cats. It was able to old three bags of premium sand and still enough room for more. Great price considering it included the adjustable canopy top but unfortunately not water resistant. We had a few days of on and off rain along with cold weather and our box seats are covered with mold.

Great Sandbox with Amazing Price!
Highly recommend! This has been a great addition to our backyard. I was drawn to this because I wanted one with an attached lid. I saw this one and thought it was way too cheap for what it was advertising I'd get. Nope, it's exactly as advertised. For size reference, my 3 year old has a ton of space. His 9 and 12 year old siblings can squeeze in there with him too, but not functionally lol.I've only had two issues. Neither of which makes me dislike the sandbox. The only one that actually annoys me is how difficult it is to get the canopy back up with one person. You must pull one side, tighten it, walk around, and repeat until you inch it up to the top. The only other issue we've had is the bench coming detached from the sandbox. They pulled right out of it, no stripping/tear, etc. The screws that secure the hinges just don't work as intended, but super easy fix.
