A great well priced router that did the job
I have bought 3 of these now to provide wifi from our Starlink, throughout the the house.I have 1 that sits in the attic next to the starlink as the hub feeding the other routers, then 2 others acting as access points across the house. Really easy to set up and link once you know what you are looking at and how AP's work. As a result, really quick internet all over the house done fairly cheaply. Wifi signal seems pretty good and we get between 100 & 250mbps, in an area that has zero fiber... so thats good for usOne bit of advice, don't be tempted with the slightly discounted "used" version of the router they offer for sale, to save a couple of quid. This one was the 2nd I bought, and turned out to be an older version, which worked fine, but as its not a v4, there's limited software updates and performance is not as good as the later v4 models. Its not worth the saving. This one then acted as my main ethernet splitter going to the other 2 main AP routers. For that, it is fine.Overall worth the money and did the job I needed them to do.

Really easy to set up... Using to boost Virgin Media poor signal
Well it's only day 1 but I got set up and running in ten minutes. The user interface once set up is easy to use and self explanatory.Like many people in the uk I'm on Virgin Media and the router they supply gives a really weak signal around the house. I made this purchase to resolve that and I'm very pleased. Even in remote parts of the house where my wifi signal used to drop out I am getting excellent signal strength and speed. Also a great point is it has parental controls so you can restrict your kids access to certain times of the day, no more Fortnite in the middle of the night 😃.Overall, looks like a promising product, fantastic I'd say for the price. If you need to boost a poor signal then I'd recommend. Works almost out of the box with around 10 minutes set up.

Great router to replace your ISPs combo modem.
This is a nice bit of kit and provides way greater functionality than most provided ISP routers (think Virgin Media) however, the access point in it is quite lacking but that can be fixed with a third party access point, if you’re looking for a simpler setup I’d opt in for something else, but if you’re fine with getting your hands a tiny bit dirty another AP will do wonders.A few things I do wish there were was a built in VPN server and PxE functionality but I can’t expect too much off a cheap router, it’s great for the price though and I don’t plan on swapping it out any time soon.

Won't connect to my ISP & useless for ring cctv cams & alarms, having to return it.
The ONLY way I could get this to work was by connecting it to my original router as it kept thinking it was connected to a different type of ISP. I have a 1gb fibre optic pppoe connection (Vodafone fibre optic to the home) and this kept saying I was connected to a different type so wouldn't work. Also, it needs to reset itself every 24hrs which means the ring alarm goes into it's emergency backup mode using the 4g simcard instead of Wi-Fi.IF YOU DON'T PAY THE £8pm FOR THE RING MONITORING SERVICE THEN YOUR ALARM IS NOW NO GOOD AS IT WON'T WORK AS YOU ONLY GET THE 4G PHONE SERVICE IF YOU PAY FOR THE SERVICE!You have to reset the alarm by physically pressing the setup button, so absolutely useless if you're like me and work away from home for weeks at a time, as it reduces some of the other features when in this mode. Not all the cameras auto reconnect either. If you turn the reset function off in the app then the router locks up after 2 days, 3 at the most, and you have to unplug the power and reconnect it for it to start working again. So it's absolutely useless for anyone with this CCTV/ALARM system or one like it.I've read the instructions on their other products and you have to do this with all of them, even the mesh systems that they make have to be reset every 24hrs.I can only hope the CCTV camera I bought to test out is a lot better as its too late to return that now with me being away from home to test it.If you don't have anything that needs to be permanently connected and can live with it reseting itself every 24hrs (you can set the time of day/night in the app) then it's a router worth considering, especially at the price it's at. Of course that's on the assumption that you can get it to work with your ISP!I live in a big flat/apartment with concrete floors and brick and plaster walls and the reason I bought this in the 1st place was because my router supplied by my ISP struggles to get through to the next room. With the 5 Antennas on router, this reaches all my cameras on the front of the property (going through 2 solid walls) also the one on the other side (2 solid walls again) but can't get through the 3rd wall to the back of the property, but I have a ring Pro chime back there so it connects to that with an excellent signal and the two outdoor cams connect to the pro chime so all the cams have an excellent connection.Hope this helps any future buyer.

Fixed virgin issue
We were having issues with virgin WiFi saying connected no internet on various devices intermittently with no apparent reason. Upgraded hub didn't fix it and after checking online and seeing other customers having this issue and struggling for a fix I decided to give this a go as virgin were going to charge me 25 quid anyway if no problem found. It works a treat! Changed my hub to modem mode and let this baby provide the WiFi and have had no issues since! Easy to setup and the signal is amazing!I have 1gb virgin package and WiFi speed test shows 300mb download and 80mb upload speed with this router which suits us fine.
