As a woman who was originally trying to track OV for getting pregnant I had purchased these from the app. Fast forward to 4 years later, still no pregnancy and a new OB appointment in the future, I purchased these again to track everything before the appt in hopes it helps the Dr. I love that you get so many test and a lot of pee cups! I even bought one of those small 3 drawer plastic organizers to keep all my tests in. Directions are pretty self explanatory and easy to use/understand. If you are like me and would like to keep track of all your stuff, I can’t say enough about this pack of tests!

These ovulation test strips are a great value. The free app it comes with called Premom looks complicated at first but is actually really easy to use and can track symptoms as well. You take a photo of the test in-app (they don’t save to your camera roll which is nice) and it reads the result and tracks everything for you. These ovulation strips have been infinitely helpful in my journey to conceive. Very satisfied with these strips! They helped me accurately pinpoint my ovulation, and I actually got pregnant during my predicted fertile window. I did not use the app, I just took pictures of the strips and recorded them on a google sheet. I really only bought these because I’m anti-birth control, have PCOS and generally just wanted to know if/when I was ovulating. We weren’t trying per se, but not fully preventing. I was using these in conjunction with monitoring my basal body temperature every morning. I just used a regular thermometer for that. Because of my PCOS I always had a faint positive line (I read that this was to be expected with all ovulation tests with PCOS) BUT the lines did in fact darken during my fertile window. I actually realized I was unexpectedly pregnant because the lines got EXTREMELY dark when I started producing HCG. The tests were picking up the HCG, and the only reason I suspected that was because of a TikTok made by the Easy @ Home team that prompted me to take a pregnancy test. It was in fact immediately positive. Moral of the story, these work. I suppose “false positives” are possible because it did pick up the HCG hormone instead of just LH, but to most women using these I’m sure that’s not exactly a bad thing.

Excellent value for the cost, every so often will get unclear results. Took me a few tries to get the hang of using these test strips initially, but after I got the hang of it it was easy peasy. You do sometimes get some ambiguous looking results (control line obviously dark red, test line was light red with a dark red super thin line running through it). The kit comes with plenty of tests that you can just do a repeat if you need to to double check.

A game changer in our TTC journey for our second baby!!! We’d been trying for over a year and were feeling frustrated. I used my iPhone’s cycle tracker which predicted my fertile window and it SEEMED pretty consistent with how my body felt during my expected ovulation window. We’d have sex within the predicted window, and my period came each month without fail. Ridden with disappointment, I decided to track my ovulation instead with these strips AND the PreMom app. It was helpful to upload test strips and see my line progression, and when I started to see the line darken indicating my LH surge, we had sex on a Monday, Wednesday and I ovulated Thursday, and two weeks later- BAM! I was FINALLY pregnant. The shocker was, my phone’s cycle tracker had my ovulation day off by 2-3 days each month! We were probably missing the surge window for a whole year! My husband and I were thankful that we figured it out, but realized we could’ve been pregnant much sooner had we tracked ovulation. We were nearing our last resort to naturally conceive. Hey future moms! Please be patient reading this review. I had a miscarriage back in November 2023 from a chemical pregnancy. It was a devastating time and I needed time to recover mentally and physically before even thinking about trying to conceive again. I bought this kit in December and was gonna use it for myself but instead gifted it to my best friend who was also trying to conceive. She was just following her ovulation prediction on the period app and wasn't being successful. She started using this in January and got pregnant in April. I convinced my colleagues to get the kit with me since they both had miscarriages same time as I did. And they also got pregnant. I monitored my hcg from February to June. Best advice, take your time. Do not rush and learn more about your body. Period apps and dr. Google says you're suppose to ovulate on day 14. That's not always the case for everyone. My ovulation day ranged from day 15-21. I monitored and found it was usually after day 15. This means that if i would of just followed the period app and common stats, I would of always missed my 24hr window. Also don't listen to dr. Google on the timing in peeing in the cup. They always say morning or 2nd pee of the day. Not for my friends and I who all got pregnant! We all did ours after dinner 2 hours after liquid intake or before bed while we were monitoring. I was always told since I was young that I may never be able to have children or would be prone to miscarriages or stillborn due to health issues. So when the miscarriage happened in December I felt doomed. This kit changed my life, it helped me learn more about myself and also taught me to be patient. I hope this next part I explain can happen to all you future moms cause it was truly a dream come true. Due to the 5 month monitoring, I learned my peak days. I learned which cycle day it would most likely occur so I booked a last minute baby making trip to Mexico with my husband for that week it would fall under. Day 3 into my trip and I hit my peak which was on cycle day 21! Let's just say, with that kit, plus pre-seed, lots of yummy food (absolutely no drinking!) We left that trip successful. I am now 6 months pregnant with twin boys! Like I said many times, be patient future moms. Monitor yourself, pee in the cup for months, learn more about your body and hopefully you guys can have one last memorable trip like I did before the babies come. Everyone deserves their happily ever after, sometimes you just have to be your own fate.
