Son loves it
Bought this for my son. He loves it. Works great. He has played it a lot. No issues at all with it.

Not like any other HP game they have for Game Cube
This game was more of a standardized game, than the free-play type of the first three. In this game you have more set items you have to accomplish, and the overall setup is nothing like the others. If you like the first three, this one is extremely different, but this one is still worth playing. There are many differences though, so make sure you take your time.

Disappointing
I bought this game hoping to play through the events in the book, and didn't think that was too big of an expectation for the game. I was surprised to discover that the game actually bears little resemblance to the book at all. The various levels do exist in the book:Herbology, the Prefect's Bathroom, the Triwizard Tournament levels; however, that's where the similarity ends, as most of these levels have nothing to do with the real plot. The prefect's bathroom level does take place in a bathroom, but mostly a random added on dungeon that doesn't require you to do anything related to opening the end. It just randomly is lost. I was most excited to try out fighting against the dragon and getting the egg. Unfortunately, you don't get to do that in this game. Calling your broom and snatching the egg are both bad "cinema scenes," really just a picture or two with an audio track, and instead you spend the level on a broom while the dragon is sometimes around. It spits fire in your way, but I wouldn't really as it's chasing you, as it's often in front. This level is based around collecting beans in the air, although it seems to be a chase. Going faster isn't how you get a better rating, however. A lot of the quests in the game are actually like that: they seem to have no point or not the point you would expect. I actually finished this game, as I wanted to see what the point of the cards was, as they're very easy to buy, and you can only use three at a time. They seem to combine in some way to form better cards, but doing that isn't an objective in the game, unless you just happen to buy the right ones. The Moody Challenge levels are sort of fun, but they don't seem to have much of a point. The first level is curiously the most difficult, although that likely because it tells you to cast a particular spell without mentioning how it is that you should cast that spell. Some of the game was fun, and it wasn't so terrible that I didn't finish it (granted it only took part of a day). However, it was also so poorly made that the characters weren't always on the screen, and the screen couldn't be adjusted. The jerky game play and poor screen selection also made me rather nauseous, which is surprising, as I don't normally have this issue with games.

No options, no finish
I dislike games that give you no options. If there is a particular task you can't do, then there's nowhere else for you to go in the game. In the dragon challenge, I had to fly through three screens, and I'm not sure what qualified you for a high score, either speed or hitting all the targets, but I couldn't fly a perfect level after hours of trying. Neither could my husband, who is usually good at these things and gets me out of jams on other games. So I got fed up and never finished.

A Let Down😞😥😣
It was a let down. The game didn't even work. But I am not mad. I will still continue to buy from Amazon. I would assume this came would have been great though.

Great condition and fast delivery

Disks in 7/10 condition but the case has some external damage. If you're buying to play it then it's for you, if you're buying to collect like myself then maybe look elsewhere
