Key Fob fits 2010 2011 2012 2013 2014 Toyota FJ Cruiser Keyless Entry Remote (HYQ12BBT G-Chip), Set of 2

According to the North Charleston dealership, these keys after cutting and programming by a local locksmith burned out my computer module in my 2012 FJ. In turn, burnt my battery also! $2000 dollars later, I’m walking at the moment waiting for a module!I’ll be sure and let you know how it’s going soon!

I was able to have the keys cut at the Ace Hardware. The keyless entry and the Immobilizer were easily programmed with a scan tool if you have a master key. This seems like a good low cost option to have extra remote transmitter and keys .

The metal of the key is not good and it makes me replace it with another keyThe remote does not work with all functions, and the panic button is not working as the original it gives just a beep

Took the keys to a lock smith and one key had a bad chip in it had to pay the lock smith to replace the chip. Chip replacement cost me more than the 2 keys I bought

If it says “must be programmed by locksmith or dealer” Don’t buy them! All the locksmiths listed on the website go to a call center and they all working together. To do over again, I didn’t see any savings versus using the dealer.
