Prusa Specific Thermistor (MK2, MK3) (PRUSA-THERMISTOR)

Fixed my printer. Fit perfectly fine, operates as new again.Not too difficult to replace.

Got my printer up and running again with this. Easy to install and works like it should.

I encountered a major clog on my iPrusa MK3S+ and tore into the Thermistor wire while trying to clean up the plastic. This Thermistor was the exact size I needed and a great replacement without having to order directly from Prusa. I was able to plug in the wire into the old one and reattach to the heat block with no troubles. I didn't notice any drops in temperature, it's very stable and I have not encountered any thermal runaways when heating up or printing.

I wanted a thermistor that was Prusa specific since they don't do everything like everyone else. This one showed up in my search and I purchased it. It uses a somewhat generic (but good quality) thermistor but then it transitions to the Prusa specific board connector. There is a short length of cable from the thermistor to the first connector which permits hot end removal without the hassle of removing the entire cable. I needed this and I'm glad they could fulfill the order but i feel like their prices are a bit steep.

This is a Prusa-specific heater cartridge for the i3 3D printer with an E3D hotend. It's the right wattage and the right voltage. It worked right out of the package, and I have had no problems with it. It fit perfectly and works flawlessly.It comes with the correct plug so all you have to do is take out the old one and plug in the new one. There's still the issue with unwrapping all the wires, routing them to the controller board, and putting it all back together, but that's not the part's fault.

After about a month this sensor stopped working. Now I wish I just bought an OEM one 😞

I bought an MK3S from someone online for $200 that had the dreaded "Blob of Death" all over the hot end. I hit it with the heat gun, got all the filament off, and saw the thermistor and heater cartridge were busted. I didn't have time to order and wait for the Czech Republic this time, so i tried out this one. The thermistor installed easily and plugged directly into the motherboard. The cable length was more than long enough.
