I love this as a clarifying shampoo and conditioner few times a month to get rid of excess product or before I put a treatment on my hair (Keratin home treatment, etc)First, the bottle is great because you can actually see how much left is in it. The shampoo itself smells clean and fresh, not overly scented. You do not need much. (and I have thick curly hair).This is great after build up of product such as hair spray, smoothing agents, heat protection, etc. I usually wash twice before I put conditioner on or a hair treatment. The clarifying shampoo helps the conditioners. etc absorb more .It is also a great shampoo to use after swimming, and my hair feels nice and soft. This is the best clarifying shampoo I have ever used!

.I love the scent so much - it's either Floral Woody, or Citrus Woody, and so uplifting!I wish it lasted longer - I feel it's gone, even by the time I'm done with my shower, and I wish it would last all day! :)...I even wish Kristin Ess would make a lightly conditioning mist (or even, an actual body fragrance mist!!!) with this scent, that would last all day,and a little stronger ...but making sure it still feels like the quality this does, not then feeling like chemicals......I also like the feel of the gel/lather - some gel shampoos, feel cold and gloppy, this one feels somehow (warm? and) bouncy,and the lather feels gentle while using(although after rinsing, my hair can sometimes feel a little stripped and as though it's gotten tangled,BUT, when I go to brush out my hair, after, what I do is,I start near the bottom of my hair, so that I brush down only a few inches, and don't pile up knots as I brush down,and then I move the brush up the length of my hair and repeat, until I have preliminarily slid out any tangles, then I brush as normal),and once dry, my hair and scalp feel balanced (NOT like I used anything harsh), and renewed and soft! I don't need any conditioner, or after shower product!...I also even love the bottle/cap, lol :) -To me, this product is ICONIC, and I hope it will be around forever! :).

I typically don't use conditioner because my scalp can be oily. But after shampooing with this, I HAVE to use a conditioner. The shampoo lasts - I have shoulder-blade length hair and the bottle is easily 10-12 shampoos. It lathers extremely well and when you rinse, you can feel the squeeky clean. I use it about once every 7-10 days to give my scalp a nice reboot and rid my hair of any minerals from the hard water. I don't use products in my hair.

I think it works well but you’re supposed to use a quarter size amount but I feel I still need to shampoo with my regular shampoo to make it sudsy. I’m sure it’s working though.

I miss the Neutrogena clarifying shampoo (which is no longer being made at the time I'm writing this review), but this serves as a good stand-in. It doesn't have the same smell as the Neutrogena and my hair doesn't seem quite as "squeaky" clean, but it doesn't promise to replace Neutrogena exactly. It does do what it promises, so I'm going to give it a full 5/5.

It cleans the hair strands just right, leaving them soft and shiny. I highly recommend using it every 15 days, my hair is wonderful.

I’m super torn about this product. Sometimes it works and sometimes it seems to make the oil worse. I’ve been using as directed for several months now, and I can firmly say it’s too inconsistent to continue and today gave me a mild chemical burn. It may have been overuse this week? I haven’t been in the sun and my scalp is pink and has stayed that way all day after my shower.Maybe this product works for others but it doesn’t for me.Issues: oiliness, scalp itch, dandruff, burn.

Great for all hair types and cheaper than any other brand (like OUAI). It doesnt dry my hair ljke OUAI does and leaves it silky and clean!
