Perfect for sketching!
I have used pigma Micron pens for a while, and I love this brand. I have not ventured out much to other brands, but I have not felt a need to as these pretty much fit the bill. These markers are great! I love bible journaling, practicing my brush calligraphy, and just doodling and drawing in general. There is a very fine marker for the intricate details of your drawing (005), some medium for when you need a heavier hand, (03 and 08 and 1) and a mechanical pencil and brush marker.I haven't had any issued with the pens running out or going dry, and I have already used them quite a bit in my sketches. I love the amount of detail I get, and although I am not using them for "manga" I still think they are the perfect pens for my little toons.I've already done a variety of drawings, and these are perfect for my needs, and exactly what I wanted. I would definitely recommend these if you desire a pen set that has a little bit of everything. They came very quickly and well packaged. I love the design and durability of these pens.

Dude, Buy This!
As I ordered this pack of pens and the pencil on Dec. 19th, these pens came as fast as they could, but I found them in the mail today. All of the pens are in great condition, and the pencil is in the same great condition. Nothing was wrong with the package at all, and the price I got these for? Ridiculously cheap, especially for good art supplies - $7.83 plus shipping, came out for about $12.45 for me. The shipping took a little longer than I'd like, but hey, whatcha gonna do when it's almost Christmas?I plan to use these for future art pieces, and they will be perfect for lining everything. Highly recommended to buy if you got gift cards, or if you want really good pens at a good price.

Simple and Good Quality
These are awesome markers for a beginner. I highly recommend them for any starter. There was a variety of tips and the black color was smooth and nice. A great set. I am a hobby artist along with my younger cousin. When I first started I went with the pricey but Great quality Faber Castle Pitt Pens that came with 3 black pens and a variety of grays. The 3 black pens came in small, medium, and big. It was a nice (but pricey) set, and I wasn't all entirely sure how to use the gray. So this set was a lot simpler for a beginner like my cousin. Also the variety of black tips is a plus.I also liked how these Sakura pens showed the dimensions instead of just "small, medium, big." it will show her what kind of tips she likes for her art for future reference.

Buy packs over singles for more consistent quality
I think these are the best pens for most line work / ink work you want to do. They're inexpensive and easy to use. I have purchased sealed sets like this, and I've purchased singles. From experience I recommend buying the packs over the singles. The pens out of the packs are always fresh, the singles are sometimes dry and don't write properly. If you're going to buy singles you MUST make sure they're the ones that are in the sealed packages. If you buy them and they come lose the quality will be very random. You can buy sealed singles, but you have to navigate to the specific sub-category on some of the listings by Sakura.

Works well! Satisfied.
I bought these to outline some comics I started writing. I found I could use these in many different cases, like to outline a painting on a canvas or to just draw on paper with. They don't clog and run smooth and dark. I would buy it again and recommend it.

Super good but be careful with the smaller tips
I love these pens but ive had to buy two sets within like 3 months of each other because the 005 tip caved on itself even though I was super gentle with it but the thicker pens are a lot better but id recommend a different brand for super fine liner pens

You get better than you pay for
As an artist who has dropped a lot of money on sub par art supplies over the years, Sakura pens are a refreshing find. I ordered this set off Amazon a couple months ago, thinking at that low price they won't last long- well 2 months + later the pens work as well as they did when I first got them- and that's with daily use. I know Rapidograph is considered the gold standard if pens for ink drawing, but after spending hundreds of dollars on them then dealing with the cleaning hassles and general unreliability, never again.I want a pen to work the way it's supposed to when I pick it up to draw, and these do- I'm buying more in the widths I use most just so I'll have them. Great value and quality.

Wonderful Set For Artists
Once my drawing kit had arrived, I immediately grabbed a fresh sheet of paper and began testing it out.The black ink is exceptionally dark, very quick to dry, and easy to maneuver! I couldn't imagine how I ever managed to make good drawings without using one of these bad boys. However, I recommend customers to not press the pens too hard, as they have a tendency to somewhat tear the felt tip a bit and cause irritating double lines from the loose felt thread. This, however, is very unlikely to happen as long as you take good care of the pens.In conclusion, this is a wonderful purchase if you're looking to find good pens to line your art!
