ILLUMISHIELD Screen Protector Compatible with Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 (2-Pack) Clear HD Shield Anti-Bubble and Anti-Fingerprint PET Film

I don't really write very many reviews, but I'm impressed enough with this product that I felt compelled to. Installation is as straight forward as any other dry screen protector, easy to install bubble-free if you know what you are doing. Oddly it only had a protective film on the adhesive side of the screen protector and none on the top. I'm used to having the second protective film on the top on any other screen protector I've used, I'm assuming it's not there on this one due to the anti-fingerprint properties of this protector.After a few days of use I'm very impressed by the fingerprint and smudge resistance. The few times I've noticed any they've wiped away very easily without smearing. To me one of the main drawbacks of a screen protector is they hold onto fingerprints and smudges more than the naked screen. That is not the case with this one. And, while I haven't been purposely trying to scratch it or anything, I don't see any scratches or marring yet either. I can at least say it doesn't easily scratch, but I'll wait for a few more weeks of use to see how it holds up.So far it is among the best screen protectors I've ever used, and I've used a bunch!

I ordered this screen protector for the Galaxy Tab S 8.4. The fit was exact with the cutouts in the right spots. It's cut so exact that it took a few minutes to readjust just right so no overlap on the bezel, but once it was aligned it fit very nice.The only complaint was that the sticker attached to it to remove the screen protector from the plastic lining was attached to the screen protector and not the plastic lining. Once I placed it on, I had to peel it off the front and it left adhesive residue on the front of the screen protector. I was able to remove it with some elbow grease but I shouldn't have had to if it was correctly placed on the plastic lining.No noticeable change to brightness, clarify or color with the screen protector installed.

Good quality but doesn't have a top layer to protect it. Mine came with scratches and a little defect but they have good customer service. They replaced it instantly but replacement also came with little scratches which is not actually visible when the screen is on. Its difficult to install it perfectly. My first try on installing it I got lucky. The 2nd, 3rd, and 4th try were unfortunate because when you redo the installation, say hello to dust and you can't really reattach the film without touching the adhesive side.UpdateListen to my advice. Buy a glass if you can. Don't settle with this one. Glass is better in every way.Oleophobic coating on this one is not good.

The product is excellent. Arrived on time and performed as advertised. Had a little bit of bubbling while installing as instructed, but lifting and slowly lowering -- followed by using the tool provided -- resolved that. Recommend careful inspection of the tablet surface for ANY lint that might have adhered to the tablet surface -- which is plastic and has a static charge. In my case, two very small threads of lint (virtually invisible) remained on the surface of the tablet and were under the iLLumiShield after installation.

Had trouble installing the firsr one as the peel of sticker is not on the home button side but the opposite end.The first one was wasted as its sticking power was not strong..i then managed to install the 2nd one successfully without bubbles. now i am left with no spares!. Finger prints do show up on it and it is not matte but glossy one.The fit and cutting was ok. maybe will try a tempered screen protector next..

Be sure to keep the dust off the adhesive part of the screen protector. Trying to readjust it too many times will result in dust and particles getting stuck on it and will not look right once you get it in place. I wasted the first one trying to get it on correctly. Air bubbles should not be an issue as a card is supplied to "scrape" them out.

The screen protector is pretty thick, so I think it will do the job of protecting the screen. There are dozens of small and medium bubbles under the screen -- a shame. The Samsung screen is amazing -- I hate to diminish the qualify of the pictures by my poor installation of the protector. I suppose I could take it off and try again, but I am worried about how I will get the adhesive off the screen.

Still has a decent amount of glare. Apply in a clean space because the dust clings to the adhesive side- also best to not readjust multiple times because each time more dust clung to it. Overall well made and definitely protects the tablet screen well. Would absolutely buy again, though I might try one with anti-glare.
