They are the same on both sides, but they don’t feel heavily waxed. I really like them.

Is this parchment paper compostable?

I'm not sure, however, it is paper, just coated with food grade silicon. So, I would assume so.

Is this wax paper or parchment? What is the gsm of this paper?

Yeah, the description is a little confusing, calling it parchment paper, then wax paper... It is 100% parchment paper. NOT wax paper. I don't know what "gsm" is. My guess is "Good Salty Meat" ...but that's probably wrong...
