Public Speaking for College & Career, 10th Edition

Great public speaking books I needed it for school and it came pretty quick. Definitely some good information here..

Absolutely loved this book. It’s very helpful for a speech class or for creating different types of speeches. The book has beautiful and clear explanations and a lot of nice illustrations. Recommend this book to anyone who needs to learn how to become a great speaker.

I of course waited until the last minute to order my books for my classes. I received this book with time to spare and its in great condition. I am definitely going to continue to order my school books from this merchant.

I had no issue with this item unfortunately I had to return the book because the college decided to remove me from the class after I purchased the book. The book came before the seller said it would get here, so I like that the purchase was on time.

I am the nerd in your evening class at the Community College who really gets into the group discussions about each chapter of the textbook that we all had to write detailed notes and answer questions about. I'm the one who steered the conversation topic from "why you should dress professionally for a presentation", to "why should other peoples' judgments dictate what we wear?" I can get interested in pretty much any subject, find a way to analyze it, etc. and even I could not stand this book after the 4th chapter or so.It was so miserably boring, so repetitive, and so basic. The material covered seems more fitting for a middle school level. It repeats the same, dull, elementary information over and over and it makes up the bulk of every chapter.Students - you probably have no choice but to take the class (it's a requirement at my school) and to get this book for the class. But rent it, don't buy it. I doubt you'd ever need to crack it open again.Professors - please don't use this book. please.

The book is in very good condition and it came before the due date which was great. I did not have to borrow a book to do lessons. That is the one thing I like about AMAZON 's timing.
