Powerful microcontroller with a cortex processor!
The Teensy 4.0 is a very powerful microcontroller with lots of customisation and other utilities. I got this as an overkill project for making a highspeed keypad (16Khz+ speed). In the future I may include a photo of the final result!

Good fast microcontroller.
If you've ever used an Arduino and want something faster then this is excellent, my old Arduino Nano runs at 16MHz but my Teensy is running at 600MHz, I can also overclock it 1GHz with a heatsink. I use it with the audio shield and am making a synthesizer.

Great Hardware, Poor Documentation
A decent board, lots of good capability and highly reliable. However, a lot of libraries available have been written by a single member of the PJRC forums. Many of these are depreciated and poorly documented - particularly in regard to the audio library - and rely on forum responses from this one man on the forums. I had a query and never got a response, which was a dead end so had to opt for a new microcontroller. Good board, lots of potential, but this is a huge issue with development, so I'm recommending to my company to adopt the STM32 family instead.
