Fun to fly
This plane flies great, but because it is really heavy it needs a bit more speed than you might expect. The hover mode is like a drone and could be flown in a backyard. The normal mode you should go to a park to fly it. This is really fun to fly and I enjoy it. It handles the wind really well (maybe cause how heavy it is so it’s harder to blow). It is a good price for what it comes with, but the instructions may not make sense any times.

Fun to Fly
The hover mode is really cool. Very controllable and precise. Super soft spot landings. The flight mode is really fast. Does stunts. Battery lasts longer than stated on lower power modes. It's a little delicate. It will break easy if you crash it. I am on my third one because I was flying too crazy around trees and ruined the other two. I am more careful now and having lots of joy. Best for adults or fairly experienced pilots.

I've owned two of these, and both had the same GLITCH that caused them to crash
Such a great little VTOL, or is it?!Price was about $125 and Prime when I bought my first one.First, let me tell you I'm not a beginner R/C airplane or drone pilot. Not advanced or expert either. More so the intermediate or hobbyist flyer with all of my planes having a 'safe' mode for those times of panic. Even my Mavic Air is easy to fly/operate.My first X450 was a good time. Until it wasn't.I had taken off, and was practicing or learning the controls as they're oddly labeled on the remote (transmitter). "Stick" is labeled as "Stuck". Other controls aren't labeled with rhyme or reason it seems. I was practicing and learning in VTOL mode. Once I flipped the switch and went to airplane mode I was impressed. This thing is COOL! Soon, I went into the advanced mode and was doing loops and rolls. Such a great little plane. And fast!! I mean, impressively fast!!! However, when banking a turn in airplane mode the plane took a hard dive into the hard dirt. Exploding into too many pieces to repair. Thank goodness for prime, as I sent it back and got a replacement. Not too painful of a crash with the ability to replace with a simple phone call to Amazon. The second X450 arrived in a few days.. and, I eagerly unboxed and assembled. The second X450 was also a good time. I flew it off and on for 30min that week. Put it back in the box, and got it out again the next camping trip a month later. I flew it in VTOL mode and went to airplane mode within a minute or so... and, then it happened again!!! It took a dive right into the hard dirt. Again, exploding into many pieces (as shown in attached pictures). Now, I'm screwed as this (second) X450 is way past any return window.Super bummed, as it's fun to fly when it's actually flying correctly. I love the fact I don't need a runway, as often I'm camped in the desert and the dirt/rocks aren't great for landing gear. Now, the X450 has gone up in price to $170'ish and is no longer offered via Prime.(update; it's now listed as Prime once again)I'm done with this plane, and NOT going to throw away another $125-170 dollars of my hard earned money. I warn you... they advertise this airplane more than once, so that the reviews won't deter a prospective buyer. Once reviews start to talk bad about the X450, they list it again and will shut down the badly reviewed X450 (as no longer available from this seller).I also looked to see if I could contact the seller direct, or from their storefront page. I didn't see any phone number, or ability to message the seller to see about getting the plane replaced. That was also a deterrent to not buy another, and go with a reputable brand like E-Flite for the "Convergence".If you buy... GOOD LUCK. Your going to need it and deeper pockets.(pictures attached are of the second planes damage, from one crash)

Plane drone rocket
This plane is an absolute blast to fly I love it and if you feel like you're getting in trouble just throw it and hover mode and it just all of a sudden bam there it is hovering it just couldn't be any easier to fly but when you put it in rocket mode better have your wits about you!

Not What You'd Expect
So, I fly alot of quads and RC planes and decided it would be fun to get a cheaper little thing to fly around my warehouse and property when I have spare time. VTOL is always neat and this guy fit the bill. Pretty neat design, the front two motors rotate to be vertical or horizontal depending on the type of flight you want. Middle rear motor is static vertical. The instructions are not in any English I'm familiar with, but setting it up and pairing to the controller were pretty easy regardless.Commence the first flight. It took off great! One thing I really liked is that the motors moved on their gimbal to adjust to your inputs VS just adjusting their speed relative to one another. That gave the helicopter mode a pretty cool look. It was easy to fly in this mode and everything went as you'd expect.Fast forward a bit to taking it outside. It was a calm day, sunny with no wind to speak of. The RC took off in helicopter mode and I got some speed up before switching to airplane mode. Boy, that was a cool transition! It flew great and straight in airplane mode and pretty fast too. However, that's where the fund ended. You see, this doesn't roll and bank like you'd expect. It seemed to turn like a video game airplane where one directional input handles all the variables. This isn't exactly a problem, but it is unexpected, and since I had no way of knowing this from the proto-english instruction manual it made for a very interesting flight.White RC Down. The plane works great going up and down but turning is an issue. My craft was fast approaching a row of tall trees on the property and I had no confidence that I was going to be able to turn to avoid the boundary properly so I decided that I could fly up and over the trees and switch to helicopter mode and fly back to myself that way. This worked great until an outstanding branch ended up being in my flight path. I reflexively tried to yaw away from it, but since the airplane doesn't work like you'd expect it instead just cut power to one or both of the engines. All I know for sure is that it immediately stalled and is now nestled in the canopy of these 60 foot trees on my property.I thought at first that the battery was low and that's why it didn't have enough power to climb. But, it wasn't a sheer vertical climb, and I had only just started flying with a full battery, AND the craft is advertised to be able to hover "vertically" I came to the conclusion that my inputs had stalled the craft.Pilot error? Maybe. I did crash it. However, if your controls are suddenly southpaw, is it really your fault? Tough to say. I contacted support but they have not yet understood that the craft is UNREACHABLE and I cannot take pictures or video of it flying to demonstrate what I've written above. In Summation. It's a pretty neat aircraft and it accomplishes alot for the price tag. If the company just corrected the control scheme and spent a little more money on language localization for their instruction manuals and remote you'd have a pretty stellar product here. My biggest recommendation is to read the reviews which mention this problem a lot. I didn't.
