I got these file folders to of course organize my files/ documents. I love the color they do seem pretty durable. For the price I would purchase this again. I love the color too

I don’t find this to be gray at all. It’s more of a beige. Maybe a mix of gray and beige. It works. It holds. It does the job. But this isn’t gray

Glad to see Smead has stronger steel in their hanging folders . I have bought a lot of files over the past few years from other companies and the steel hanger just collapses after a short time of use because the steel is so thin and crappy. I took a chance on a Smead product thru amazon and ordered these hanging files and honestly didn't expect much and I'd probably have to return. To my surprise they a far stronger than the other companies products, finally some quality coming back than the throw-away nation attitude. I stopped buying the other companies and have been the past few years rummaging through my parents much older hanging files to reuse them since they were made better. Hope Smead continues to offer sound quality products . Just looked at their website and found they are a "woman owned" company, made in the USA product and Eco green conscience. That makes me feel more awesome about this product purchase.

Con: Gray looks more like brown. (I added a photo showing Smead's gray compared to Amazon Basics' gray).Pro: They feel sturdy and are uniform in color from inside and out compared to the other brands where the inside is cardboard color.

I like the folders a lot. Unfortunately, I didn't receive enough tabs. I thought about returning, but I would much rather have some tabs sent to me. I would definitely give them 5 stars if not t=for that. Other than that, I really like the colors of the file folders and the folder I selected. I like that it adds personality to the open shelving in my home office.

I recently revamped my file cabinet which had various brands and colors of file folders. I had exposure to Smead in an office setting, and they had the specific colors I wanted from a brand I trust.The items were promptly shipped, delivered, and as described. Each set of 25 hanging file folders was packaged inside a box. Both included the clear plastic tabs and replaceable white inserts, which I do not use. I prefer to print my labels on the printable hanging file tabs. I find that these folders hold a fair amount of paperwork, and they are sturdy enough to last a while. I find the gray color a particular value at the current price point and would certainly recommend these file folders to others.

There were no instructions on how to put the tabs on the hanging file folders which I didn't like. The Inserts for the Tabs are all there but the clear plastic 1/5 tabs themselves(7 of the tabs)are missing. Please send those in the 2nd order. Thanks!

Love the colour. Worked well with the container I purchased to organize kids school memories. Doesn't have the clear protective strip on edge that others have but will likely be durable enough for this purpose.
