It really does look nice and it is sturdy. The assembly instructions were picture diagrams, obviously drawn in Chinese, which made it difficult to determine where some of the pieces were supposed to be in the assembly process. And, the fact that a piece was missing didn't help. The fact that the box had been taped closed. I bought two of these and the second box had all the listed parts.As a follow-up, the manufacturer reached out to me and vowed to make it good for me, which they did. The missing part was quickly shipped, received, and easily installed. I would have been reluctant to recommend this item, but since the business was so concerned about customer service and satisfaction, I would buy from them again if I had a need.

With a power driver assembly was about 15-20 minutes. Nice small nightstand or end table. Think I may add some mesh behind the door vents to keep dust out. Sturdy and easy to assemble if you have done similar type of jobs or like puzzles LOL it's not bad just take your time and line up your pieces they way they are oriented in the instructions.Pros:All parts are labeled including bags containing screws and attachments- 2 Allen wrenched included (Allen tip bits and the power driver expedites assembly as well)- 1 extra of each attachment screw and dowel is included- Fit and finish are good and tight* SturdyCon:- Assembly instruction are all pictures which is cool except you need to pay close attention to the hole orientation when assembling. Also the magnetic latch (I installed in reverse and had to correct it later).- Philips screwdriver is needed (Power screwdriver makes the job a lot easier!)- The 6 small Philips to attach the back are not pre drilled. This is where a power screwdriver really helps.- Door can only be mounted to open in one direction unless you flip the entire mid portion prior to side rail assembly. This will cause the magnetic door catch to be located at the bottom which can be an issue

Let me say that besides it being a smidge smaller in overall size than I had an imagined, the really only negative thing I have to say about this is its assembly. I've put together a LOT of furniture in my days (moved a lot... always getting new stuff in different places) and this is one that was quite hard - for a couple of reasons. First, the directions aren't nearly as specific enough as they should be. Also, I found it odd that you can't easily see how to mount the door hinge on the reverse side, if you choose to. Additionally, the actual screwing in of many of the screws is VERY hard... lots of muscle grease needed or a power drill. I managed to use a screwdriver with hex ends but that was very hard. The included hex wrenches can't possibly work for people!That all aside, the item is sturdy and sexy. It works well and is a nice addition to the room. I actually have the desk that matches the finish and the desk is VERY nice!

i gave this a 5 star review for the following reasons:I could do it myself without asking my husband for a handIt comes with an extra piece of hardware for each kind required (dropping one happens almost every time)It is a nicely made little piece of furnitureThe price was super fairIt came pretty quicklyIt holds all our games no problem, but I didn't put the shelf in to make more roomThe only negative if I HAD to point one out is that you need an electric screwdriver to put the back on since no holes are predrilled. I am handy with a drill so I turned the torque way down and used my drill but you could easily split the wood if you arent careful. I love this little piece !

A nice, sturdy, little table. I did not have high expectations for the price, but the table is heavy, has adjustable feet, and the finish is certainly better than satisfactory considering it is veneer over press board. I am using it as a charging table, which is working out great. I placed a USB charging hub inside and drilled a hole in the back to allow the power cord to pass through. It's great. Nice and tidy and the devices are not visible through the window. It really cleaned up my TV stand and looks great with my other more expensive furniture. Would definitely recommend this brand if you are looking for budget furniture that will last a good amount of time (but not forever). Item also arrived way quicker than expected.

This is my 2nd Vasagle nightstand, though I'm using them as side tables for my living room chairs. I find this companies assembly directions so easy to follow. All pieces are number matched, no electric tools needed. I assembled them by myself! I now own 4 pieces of their furniture, great company.

Bought another night stand and had to return it because it was so cheaply made and i found it useless. Should have bought this one to start with. I have bought several pieces by Vasagle and am always satisfied. Very sturdy, well packed, good instructions. The style is more for functionality than decorative, but suits my needs very well. Highly recommend.

This is the 2nd night stand I've bought. Very cute, thought I'd only want one but ended up ordering another. Only reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 is because 2 pieces are damaged, not enough to return, but still disappointed seeing as its new. The metal framing is scratched and peeling and the 2 of the wood panels are damaged on the corners as if the package was dropped. Other than that, its a good product and is appealing on the eyes
